The room was very comfortable, and some of the staff was really friendly. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room the water was nice and hot always, buffet food was ok could have been better but was not horrible.

I thought there would had been a designated smoking area. I not a smoker and you had people coming next to you while relaxing pool side . Then putting the cigar out on the ground next to the pool to get kicked inside the water. For that kept me out of the pool.

Not enough restaurants or nightlife for adults. Too many”members only” places that they tell you about when you book.

Amenities seem a bit dated and casino lacks tables games like craps, three card poker, etc. Expect to pay for top shelf liquor unless you become a "member" of their resort program which would grant you access to 'members only amenities,' even if you intend to pay for the adult-only related up charges. I found this quite disappointing as most drinks seemed to be watered down, and the 'membership' upgrade does not appeal to me as there are so many other resorts to explore across the Dominican Republic that already provide these experiences in the base-price. I found the membership and soliciting of this membership to be quite annoying as I already paid for my room and simply wanted to enjoy my stay, not be pushed towards purchasing an upgraded experience after already having paid for an upgraded room. Emotions should strive to ensure guests have an amazing first-time experience with access to as many amenities as possible in order to make the experience everlasting, making it desirable to return. The 'membership' program does the opposite, making it less likely that I return to Emotions. The beach was very dirty with seaweed, and further down the beach, there was a lot of noticeable plastic garbage. We were disappointed at the overall cleanliness of the beach and moreso disappointed to experience the consequences of ocean pollution first hand. We ended up using the beach area nearly a 10 minute walk down the beach which was a much more pleasant experience Lastly, the adults only pool also seemed cloudy/dirty. Although it we know it was treated as we could smell the chlorine when the pool was treated, a deeper cleaning may be necessary. The same could be said for the pools in the tiki area.

We enjoyed the facilities that Emotions had to offer and the staff was extremely courteous and friendly. We requested our room be cleaned daily and each time the room was left spotless! The food at the buffet was top notch with plenty of local options to try! Emotions did a great job at hosting my cousin's wedding and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Rooms where not complete at the moment of actually going in. No soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, etc. We couldn't go into a restaurant the first night. Trying to contact the hotel via phone is a nightmare (Even the Credit Card concierge said it was almost impossible to contact the hotel). There was one particular lady at the reception that when I called (the day that I booked) didn't want to assist me with a request and a change. Amex concierge had to jump in and address the request (thank you Amex!!) It was also pretty packed when I was there.

I've always wanted to visit this place, specially with my kids. The small pool is a great benefit for parents with kids that are leaning to swim and you want to spend the time with them in a controlled environment.

Not many activities during the day, the drinks were tasteful but the liquor was weak and poor quality, the actual good beer was charged. Could include a little more fish.

The hotel is small but cute, the pools were beautirful, the room was enough and comfy, food was okey, and the beach snacks restaurant was very good. The staff polite. The night club was okey too. Weren't strick with the checkout hour.

What I didn’t like was probably the night entertainment. It was fairly good but could have improved and the variety of food. But overall a place I would recommend!

The pool was nice and the beach was beautiful! The facility itself is nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and nice! The bar area is thumbs up! The coffee shop is a cute space and the coffee is good! The buffet is pretty good as well. It is a kid friendly resort as well with many activities one can do, which is great! Restaurants are good to!

My room didn't have a hair dryer or hand soap. The bed mattress was a bit sagging.

The food was great. The snack bar was open 10pm-5am, which is super. The beach was nice. The amenities were great. The staff were hospitable too.
