Lack of utensils in the kitchen area, TV remote didn't work (may have ran out of battery)

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Close to the beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Aircon in the bedroom was excellent and the kitchen was a nice size with a big fridge.

No microwave in the room and wifi is very minimal.

Faulty things, like a towel rack that fell off, the coffee pot handle fell off, the tv remote didn’t work, and the pillows and mattresses were just not great.

Person whos working there on next day was terrible. She was shouting on our terrace that we have to go rapidly and everybody hear that. Not any customer service skills. So we go with the bad mood.

Not a concern for me, but the internet would go off from time to time, for a minute or two, water pressure not like America standard, but again nothing that was a concern for me. Just as a side note, nothing the hotel can do about that, the roads getting to the hotel need some major resurfacing.

The staff, especially Mariano was outstanding, he is an exceptional employee, he was very helpful with any questions or information I needed help with. This is my first long stay in the Dominican, and I will definitely stay here again. As it says, not a 5 * hotel, and I didn't need one, but very nice place right on the beach, and the price is an exceptional value, in my opinion. The beach is a minute walk away, everything you would need I.E. grocery, restaurants and bars is a five minute walk or a short motorbike taxi away.

The road to enter the property is a little bit rusty, can be an issue if you go with a small car, other than that, the experience was really good.

Place is awesome to disconnect of everything and just chill. The property has a small pool and the beach is really close. You have restaurants near and the apartment is fully pack with kitchen tools if you want to cook yourself.

Better locks on sliding doors and windows, and the bed was really tiny for an adult to be sleeping in

This area is a closed community so you need to go everywhere by taxi. The beach here is not the greatest as well as it has rocks and algae. One weekend was a holiday in DR and so the place was packed and 1 couple was really noisy with loud music. In the flat, cooking equipment is not the nicest (but that didn't really bother us) and for a while we had sheets that were a bit too small for the mattress so kept coming off But that was changed when we asked

Everything was as described. Someone is at "reception" to give you the keys and they can also give you a few advices. Swimming pool was nice. The aircon was working well and could be useful. Windows have bug nets. Overall, a very decent place I would have no issue coming back to

The staff especially front of house suddenly be in hospitality and this is coming from someone who is a front office representative coming from Jamaica always thought my people dishonest but Dominicans take it to another level avoid traveling here if you don't have to it's affordable but you end up leaving with this sense of disappointment that so many dishonest people could actually work in hospitality.

Staff was unpleasant and homophobic but this was my overall experience in the Dominican Republic cheated and overcharged every step of the way wouldn't send my enemy to this country I hope to never return. The moment they realize English speakers will be treated differently and mistreated and robbed every step of the way.

No knives to cut bread or vegetables, no matches to light the gas cooker. Generally speaking, it's not possible to cook well. Grocery shop quite far away Furniture old and worn. Bed uncomfortable and not big enough for 2 people. Wifi works very poorly and only a little in the living room.

Kitchen was poorly stocked, with too few cooking items & utensils. AC only in bedroom & living area got brutally hot in daytime. Shower & kitchen sink were both broken. All of this, i could have accepted, but the on site management was so rude, and quick to exploit guests with white skin, demanding more money. The man had no shame, even made my boyfriends two year old cry he spoke so badly about her coming onto the property when we took her swimming; there were no other guests around & noone was disturbed, but the man spoke rudely to my guests as they left instead of being man enough to come talk to the lady who made the reservations. DO NOT COME HERE if you are a foreigner.

The internet is a disaster. The mobile internet has no cover inside the property. And the wifi is very slow and blocked my computer without any reason .
