We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IrelandThe hotel would probably be perfect if traveling for work, but for a family on vacation, it feels a little "corporate". Not really a negative though, just a small thing to note.
We arrived very late (well after midnight), but we were welcomed at check-in and given all the necessary information. Some hotels don't have night staff on, so this was much appreciated. Rooms were nice and comfortable with a quite modern decor. The breakfast room was lovely and the food on offer was excellent. The outdoor seating area was very comfortable with pleasant grounds all around. The location was not far from the city centre, and was in a nice parkland, ideal for a pleasant morning walk.

LuxembourgIt took us a very very long time to check in, as the receptionists could not find our reservations made and fully paid for 5 weeks ago. He asked at least five times to check under whose name the reservation was made, even though I showed him in the app on my phone that it was me. Asking hotel guests to sign long papers when renting an umbrella is a big exaggeration. We are not renting an apartment, just an umbrella. It would be enough to mark it in the system, like it is done in any another hotel. The staff in the hotel bar is lovely, very nice and helpful people.
The facilities are very clean, so are the rooms.
