“We stayed in the dbl room and the chalet. The room was super nice and cosy, a lovely decor. Unfortunately it was booked for more nights. So we took the chalet which was very spacious and great if you stay longer as it has a kitchen. It wasn't as clean as others have stated. The bedroom has various windows to see the town and mountains from bed which was cool. It comes with a terrace where we watched the birds every day. It's a cool little house. It's very quiet at night. The garden frogs stop before bed time.”
“We had a very restful time here after a hectic few weeks travelling. The accommodation itself is beautiful and the view from the lounge to the volcanoes is stunning. Gisella cooks the most wonderful meals too. We enjoyed doing the horse ride to the upper part of the property one morning. More great views. It really was quite a treat staying here. The owner is an absolute lovely woman, very good cook (4 courses dinner with local food) and you can talk to her anytime.
We had a nice room with a view all over the valley and the Vulcan Irazu and Turrialba. We went to the barn and our son loved the baby cows and the kind dogs. You can do a trail through the rainforest, watching lots of different birds in the morning and just enjoy life.
