When I injured myself and took a long time to walk back from the beach they let us check out a little later. We didn't get to try the restaurant but the food looked great. Wished we could have stayed longer.”

We were able to participate in the yoga retreat when we wanted to, and enjoyed the exquisite & fresh food prepared by the wonderful chef. In truth, the best hotel food I’ve ever eaten at a very reasonable price. The pool is small but beautiful & the spa treatments and massages are high-quality. Everything in this hotel is delivered by people who really know what they’re doing. Also must mention the stunning panoramic views over the Pacific, where you can spot whales if you look hard enough. We had a wonderful 4 night stay and would not hesitate to come back.”

“I'll be honest, on our way to our new location after a long car trip we are fantasizing about our cocktail that we will order when we arrive at our new destination Howler Monkey's. However, when we arrive at our location it feels a bit like a downer, the photos on booking.com were apparently taken some time ago. Also the reception of our Irish host Jim can be called lukewarm, but what do you expect with this temperature. Apart from a few things (lighting and the fans present) that need a small manual, everything you need for a short stay is present. After tips from Jim we had two delicious meals near our accommodation. Also our rigid host Jim loosens up after some mutual interest, helps us with doing our laundry with one of the beautiful dated washing machines present and also helps us with the adjustment of our accommodation. We (read our daughter) thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool that gets Jim's daily dedication, shower and toilet on the ground floor are clean.”
