We had a car so not a problem for us, there is a very steep hill to return. The toilet paper was very thin... 😜🤣😅 We really enjoyed our stay... Thank you!

Wonderful ambiance, nice common area, lovely pool, and a well equipped kitchen. We loved it! Oh, and the shower was magnificent! We saw a toucan, and a family of doves with a little one right in front of our eyes.. Pretty cute!

I love Ticozuma. This room was for a friend visiting from the states who wanted air conditioning, which worked very well. The room was cozy and comfortable. Had great wifi, which he used to make calls home. Great forest views from the balcony or the seating area near the stairs, also with wifi. Howler monkeys in the trees right off the balcony. He didn’t use the pool, but it looked great for a dip and a place to catch some sun. The hotel is family run with friendly helpful staff.

You’d need a vehicle to stay here as road down to beach and waterfalls is super steep and would be a sweaty affair.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are tidy and comfortable with A/C. The swimming pool is a bonus. The WiFi was decent. The kitchen wasn’t the best we’ve seen but you can use it fine. The price is fantastic, probably the most bang for your buck place to stay.

It's the best deal around Montezuma. Everything was great. The pool is wonderful and clean. The room was above expectation and the ac was icy cold.

Everything was perfect.

The person we checked in with didn't speak English but it was fine. We were able to communicate with no problems. I like that you create the pass code for the room. No need to deal with keys and turning them in. The hotel was inexpensive but met our expectations. The room and bathroom were a nice size and the A/C worked great. The pool and grounds were beautiful! There's a trail leading behind the hotel to a couple sitting areas - very cute! There was additional seating on the top floor too with a bookcase of books for you to enjoy while you stay. Most of the books were in English.

Since I didn't have transport, walking down to the beach and shops after dark wasn't fun as the road isn't pedestrian friendly and most isn't lit. I recommend finding out about taxis beforehand as I couldn't get one back from the beach, and Uber had nothing and had to trek back uphill alone in the pitch black.

Thé swimming pool is amazing, the garden as well and if you re lucky you ll get to see monkeys in the trees surrounding the hotel! The owner is super friendly and helpful! Thank you!

Location far from town and beach

The property was well kept and very clean and it was very quiet. It also had a kitchen where you could make some meals! The swimming pool was great! The staff were very accommodating and did everything to make your stay comfortable. You could also do your laundry. The location is a bit far for walking as it is about 4 km down to the town and beach but still it is good value for your money! Would definitely recommend.

A bit far from the beach (2km to walk on a hill), but this was actually an advantage for us because it provided cooler air, zero bugs in the room and silence. The stuff did not speak english, but we managed just fine with google translate and signs.

The accommodation was better then expected, big hotel with a nice good looking room and nice bathroom. Nice pool and great garden&forest to take a walk in and to relax in a swing. Great armchairs and areas for relaxation/work/reading. Good wifi.

location is a bit far from montezuma - half an hour walk, but up a very steep hill, on a road without a sidewalk. not adviced if you dont have a car

good price quality, nice pool, great (hot) shower and big communal kitchen. some parts of the hotel are a bit old, but our room was renovated and the bathroom new & very spacey

For us it was a great location for our holiday, very peaceful with the nature and wildlife all around us and a small easy drive down to the main village. Great if you have your own vehicle (qaud/4x4 ) recommended as the roads in general around this area in Costa Rica are very tired and difficult for a small car
