Very centrally located, clean modern hostel on the top floors of an older building. The property seems to have been recently renovated and is well designed and maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful although reception hours are limited. Despite being on the main square, double glazing keeps outside noise at a minimum.
Negative section of review
A wall and door to close off the kitchen and dining room from the third floor toilets and bathrooms would be an improvement. There’s no lift and some rooms are on the fifth floor.

The location is great for exploring the city center, apparently, it is newly refurbished, and all the equipment is of good quality. The cleanliness and amenities are close to 4-star hotel standards, total privacy and absolutely recommended for the travelers who value it.

Well, thirst thing is that you need to collect the keys from another address, (Rose Hotell Reception), which is few kilometers away from the apartment building. That is not a problem if you arrive by car, but it might be if you visit Liepaja via public transport. Another thing, that had dropped a shadow on my experience - the behavior of the staff member at the hotel's reception. We were given the key to the apartment, arrived at the place, and found out, that this one was not ready for guests yet - garbage on the floor, no bed linen, etc., although we had arrived way past the official check-in time, around 16:30. Tried to make a phone call - there were automated messages in Latvian that I did not understand, so decided to drive back to the hotel to show a video I made on the spot as proof. The answer I got from the member of staff: "Well, the cleaning is in the process here, I have as many cleaners as I have, they are all busy from the very morning". I can't understand why I was given this information and what it has to do with me - these are internal problems I don't even need to know. There was a long pause afterwards when that guy was looking for something and not even informing me what was next - should I wait or what? Finally, I was given a key to another apartment, and the issue was solved but I didn't even hear something like sorry, or any kind of effort from the member of staff to kindly solve the problem verbaly. I see this situation as a lack of professionalism here and would strongly recommend to the managers of this facility to invest in customer service training.

Very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Loved the breakfast. The room was clean and spacious with fantastic view. Enjoyed the stay and I recommend this hotel to other travellers.

The co-working space was really good to have and quiet. Lovely designed sinks outside of the toilets gave an opportunity to freshen up when coming in. Good size lockable cupboards. All necessary utensils in the kitchen for cooking. Good speed Wifi.
Negative section of review
As mostly kitchen is the most problematic place to keep clean - someone spills something, kitchen towel is used to mop floor etc. Due to central location noise from the streets was expected.

Breakfast was good, there is a choice. Plenty of parking space. Near a public transport stop.

The beds are not comfortable, the pillows are very hard. The bathroom was not clean, the shower floor was covered with dirt, and there was a strong smell of mold. TV without wifi. In the dining room, the tables were not clean, some glasses were broken and left for use. I think there was a lack of staff to clean the tables, because only one girl was working, she didn't have time to fill the food and clean the tables.
