Nice place, they kindly allowed me to drop off my luggage already at 10am so I could go and explore Arashiyama. There is a small kitchen area to get drinking water, make tea, clean and pleasant. Also it was nice to take a walk on smaller roads from the metro to the acomodationand and to nearby Onsen.

The sink&shower areas are shared for women and men but that is quite common for budget backpackers places.

The room was comparably spacious for Japanese hotels, even had a desk for work. The bad was very good. Shower was also fine. Everything was nice. They even changed our slippers every day, which was surprising, that really wasn't needed :D

The stuff knows basic English and that is enough for simple hotel needs and questions. But if you need help with some extra problems, they use portable translators (?), which are not translating correctly, to speak with you, so that was not easy.

Room size is large enough for family stay with a child. Has a lounge area where we can relax after a dip in the onsen with free soda popsicle available there. Facilities are basic and ok. Distance from Kyoto station was a 15min walk.

Room was extremely dusty and terrible cleaning service!!! We stayed for 4 days and it was really uncomfortable! Daily cleaning service was bare minimum (made bed and refreshed bathroom only). Our used tea cups were not cleaned for the entire stay, carpet was not vacuumed and on the 3rd day of our stay, the bathtub was not thoroughly cleaned (hair was still present in the trap)! Informed management and they said will get it cleaned and checked, but no one came. We did not pursue it further as it was our last night there. There are 3 coin laundry machines, but they are always full. You will need to queue there in person in order to use it. Amenities are provided at the lobby and it's a self service thing, however no shavers were provided. This was inconvenient as our stay was long. For kids amenities, had to ask for it at the counter. Overall, it was a shockingly unpleasant stay in this hotel as the room was very dusty with very poor cleaning service.

Not a very big room, but it was comfortable and very cozy. There was everything you might need. Bed and pillows were fine, shower was working very well. Nice breakfast in the cafe in this hotel.

No wardrobe for clothes, but it's not a problem if you don't mind keeping it in your suitcase

Lovely staff, very helpful. Hotel was a bit away from the main tourist area, however that suited us and the train line was near by and way to use.

Cleanliness was about the std you get in England. Mostly clean but look too much and you see layers of dust in the corners etc. so for Japan it wasn’t a good std.

The hotel was in a good location and it coped admirably with the huge number of guests.

Naha itself is not an attractive looking place.
