The hotel can provide shuttle service for guests to drop off close to the beach because the weather was very hot and humid when we were there.

The breakfast was good and the environment was quiet compared to other 5 stars hotel which me and my friend like a lot.

The lounge at the main building closes quite early. It was supposed to close at 9pm but most cocktails we tried ordering when we got there after dinner about 8pm were not available. The lounge is a noce place to chill in the evening though.

We selected Yalong Bay because we wanted a break to chill rather than site see. The Pullman resort is quite self-contained and we booked a villa that comes with a pool, jacuzzi, and an outhouse of sorts for recreation and dining. Breakfast was included and it's an impressive spread of mostly local dishes, which were rotated on a daily basis. The staff are also very helpful despite the sometimes language barrier (being able to speak Mandarin is ideal). There is a free electric buggy that id on call 24 hours to ferry guests anywhere within the resort. Traveling out of the resorts is also easy via the Didi app and proces are very reasonable (on average SGD 2 - 5 per trip for an average distance of 8km). There is also a night market about 200m walk from the resort. Yalong beach is also a 200m walk.

Room for 4 adults with only one bathroom which is a bit inconvenient. Also, bathroom doesn’t have curtains to provide privacy. Very hard floor and can be very slippery with water.

Excellent staff and service. Young children friendly playground (under 2 years old).

The facilities are a bit old. The resort needs more maintainance. The Yalong Bay beach is a bit far away from the resort.

The villa comes with a small private pool with good privacy. It's well-designed, spacious and well-facilitated. The staff there are friendly and helpful. The environment and amenities are pleasant inside the whole resort. The breakfast and afternoon tea are good. The nearby restaurants and shopping areas are within walking distance.

One main thing that we didn’t like was moldy smell in the room at first when we entered. Very strong, with AC pumping and being in a room for a while, you get used to it and it’s seems alright. But just heads up for people with allergies.

Hotel itself is beautiful, nice surroundings: lake, pool, main lobby, soda bar etc. Rooms are really nice, spacious bathroom , Philips hairdryer(2100w)(info for girls).

The breakfast could be better quality / choice. Although the public beach is only about 5-10 minute walk away, if you want to be directly on the beach…you’ll have to choose a more expensive option over the road. Also as with most of Yalong Bay options, if you want restaurants and bars, it’s a good 30 minute drive away from this area.

Some of the pool areas and parts of the property need maintenance. With a lick of paint, a gardener to tend to the weeds and things will look better. Our stay was post lockdown in parts of China so the lack of tourists for 4 months may also be the reason why the buildings and pools look like they need some care.

We loved the long pool and the views and peacefulness. The shady areas in the pool are great for relaxing during the warmest part of the day. The sound of running water and the hotel is not very noisy and busy with makes for a peaceful stay.

The property was among the first built in Yalong Bay and age is showing compared to other newer resorts… yet is aging gracefully. We didn’t mind the more “well-seasoned” aspects of the property but might bother some.

For a private, quiet, relaxed holiday… the pool villas are absolutely perfect.

Facilities were limited: only one pool was open most of the time and it was connected to private rooms. Pools were generally not open before 10am and closed by 6pm. There were limited food options at resort other than breakfast. The Pullman does not have direct beach access. Many of the neighboring resorts have spaces reserved on the nearby beach. There are a few restaurants in a nearby compound; limited options for for vegetarians. This resort might be best for people with cars.

This is a nice spot for 2 or 3 days of quiet. The pools are lovely. There is an excellent and plentiful breakfast (Chinese style). You'll find your room to be spacious and comfortable. Mine included a large bathtub and plenty of warm water. The best thing about the Pullman is that it was willing to take Shanghai residents soon after the long covid lockdown was lifted.

Location of swimming pool is not comfortable to get. Access is ok only for 1 st floor. Cleaning service is not ok, they don’t change bedsheets on time!

Stayed in a villa with its own pool, so relaxing and comfortable. The hotel was pretty clean. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of western food, they had nice variety of breads, croissants, cheese, salami, eggs, etc.. and had a nice coffee machine to make lattes and expresso. The beach is just across the street and only takes a few minutes to walk over. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

While close to the beach with great activities, we still felt isolated, nothing within walking distance (shops or restaurants), City Center was 40 minutes drive away. Everything was far and required long taxi rides. Hotel only offered one restaurant with only buffet breakfast and dinner. Other hotels also had limited offerings so eating the same thing every day left us disappointed in terms of dining.

the room is a bit old furniture, needs some restoration. the pools in the main area are so so, not many chairs, unless u booked a room by the pool. a bit strange layout. breakfast was also so so and the gym too small

i liked the villa pool and the location , a nice spot in yalong bay, clean water and blue sky, few shops around. staff was also great and the spa offers nice retreats. the after sun treatment was excellent.

When management are present everything runs smoothly, but other staff seem ill-trained. They are super friendly, and they try, but they clearly have no idea what is going on. Management needs to invest some time and effort in enhancing employee skills.

I managed to get an exceptional deal, and so I highly recommend that you keep your eyes open for when this hotel has special offers. These villas offer by far the best 'private pools' of any hotel I have ever been to. Honestly, sometimes private pools are basically bathtubs, but here you get a proper pool. If your emphasis is on alone time and relaxation then this is the perfect hotel.

I enjoyed the Thai style villa a lot!!! Who doesn’t like a private pool just outside of your bedroom? The location is also great! Good service but the room would need some maintenance 😅 overall a very good experience!

There was several gifts including in our room reservation. One of them was cancelled due to the COVID, this was the yacht sailing. But we saw at the beach lost of activities as usual, so not really sure that was the real reason. Next to our Vila there were some machines that were making some noise… but we could stand it. The facilities are a little broken… but because they were so cleaned we won’t complain about that.

We were in a Villa with a private swimming pool. We enjoyed the cleaning of the room and surroundings. We were very close to the main lobby and the restaurant. Even though the beach is so closed, the hotel has a pick up drop off point to the beach and to the villas. The breakfast and the dinner was outstanding, a real continental breakfast! The staff was super good.

Not many spoke English. Waterslide was out of service. We had to wait for more than 45 min for lunch.

Breakfast didn't meet out expectations considering the price. Also bed sheets and blankets weren't changed after the first night which I think is unacceptable for a hotel of this calibre.
