Nothing really, Keep up the same standards

Overall a great place to stay, Very well maintained, The Staffs were really good and kind right from the security to the front desk to the room service team, All of them were exceptional, Especially the security officer Ajith, Was a great person and good to chat with, if you are on a pilgrim to visit the guruvayoor temple, this property is aptly situated. I am visiting this property after 10 years and i see that in terms of the facilities and cleanliness, The property stays unchanged and they have kept up to the standards.

Its not a dislike, but it would have been good if there was a locker provided in the rooms as we are not supposed to carry our valuables especially when visiting the temple!

Restaurant - Sapthaswaram - staff as well choice of food not good enough for the price being charged. Restaurant staff had discriminated based on appearance of person. We waited ( 15 mins ) for a table to be prepared(cleaned) for us , and then when we approached to sit at it - we were directed to some other table which was already available. Because I was with my parents and we were all tired from the half day travel, didn't want to raise a flag then. But, I wanted to highlight this to the FOM of this restaurant - the approach towards all guests is not the same. There is discrimination based on appearances, while everybody pays the same price for the same services. I have never before visited this property's restaurant and will not visit this restaurant ever again. I want to raise a comparison here, because that's how I'm performance checked in my organisation, comapred to my peers - While returning from guruvayur- we had to board pur train from Thrissur and we had our lunch from IRCTC Vegetarian restaurant - much smaller - same meals with same number of dishes - but superior taste and satisfaction - but all the more important - staff didn't discriminate on our appearance. We were the same as the next person they seved - the server was kind and listened to what we needed and never had any two standards for us or for anyone. I didn't like the girl at the restaurant who is at the billing counter. She was rude, and very stubborn. She behaves as if we are going to run away from the property swindling them without paying them. The restaurant manager is also a little rude. The rest of the staff members were helpful , nice and polite.

I liked the ambience and reception staff also the room service. The only hitch is they don't provide enough drinking water in the room. They are too stingy with water, bath towels....so on. It is like a ration on water. And asking them repeatedly, they are not bothered about satisfying the thirst rather they are worried about if we pay them despite asking them repeatedly for drinking water - normal drinking water, after a long , hot, tiring day at the temple
