Rooms may need a few touch ups as the condition is a bit dated and doesn't look that clean. Also, for a city this cold the heating and isolation could be better. The bathroom uses the style which is relatively typical here where you flood the whole bathroom when you take a shower as it's literally quite next to the toilet. Breakfast only is served in a two hour frame and wasn't ready on time.

The location is very convenient which was one of the main reasons why we chose this place as we only had a short stay and only needed a place to sleep for which this hotel works fine. I feel like I should mention that you should be aware that the staff does not really speak English, but communication will mainly work via translation apps which is fine.

The breakfast options could be a bit better, but most uncomfortable were the rooms which are not temperature controlled individually and it became so freaking hot while outside it was minus 18 degrees. This made me sick upon the first day. That was a pity because apart from that, the room would have been quite comfortable.

1st, facility wise they are very behind. No microwave, no laundry room, & of course, no fridge. 2nd, some part of the towel I used was dirty & wasn't fully cleaned. Also it got cold in my room & I don't know how to turn on the ac to warm the room. Oh well.

Location super close to the tourist Songhua river. Lots of local restaurant shacks are all over the street of TongJiang. But you definitely need to speak Chinese in order to order the food. Wifi is very fast doesn't stop half way.

In the bathroom, when taking a long shower, it flooded the whole bathroom. Fortunately, the water doesn't get out. According to the janitorial staff, they mentioned that the pipes are small.

It's central location close to almost everything. And the weather is so nice and pleasant.

We were supposed to have free breakfast, there was none when we arrived. No replacement or anything either. Breakfast is quite important when it is -20. The room was not hot. We complained and got a (very good) heater. I am just wondering why we didn't get the extra heater in the first place. We asked for laundromat nearby. Staff told us they didn't know, and we were left on our own to find one. I got charged on my credit card despite asking to pay on arrival. Hotel told me I would get the money back as soon as I paid at the hotel. One week later, I am still waiting to get the refund.

Excellent location for exploring Harbin. Close to Zhongyang (Central) street and only 5 minutes to the metro which is only 1 stop to the snow sculpture park and 2 stops to the ice world.

- The hotel is pretty run-down; in my room there was a big damage on the ceiling of an old water leakage, and the towels had holes in them which were sewed together. A lot of TV channels did not function well (for the rest it is a good TV). In the canteen in the basement they tried to cover up some old water damages. - The room smelled like smoke when I came in, and I found some ashes. - There was no way to regulate the heating in the room, and although outside it was -28, I had the window a bit open the whole night to keep the room at a comfortable sleeping temperature. Not so sustainable of course.

- The staff is superfriendly and helpful. - The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was also nice and warm in the room (actually too warm). - The location is very good, centrally located, with the Stalin Park (river-front), Zhongyang road and a metro station within walking distance. It is possible to take the metro to the Sun Park (snow sculptures), the Ice and Snow world, and museum 731. - The breakfast was delicious and a big portion. Due to the fact there were very few guests in the hotel, there was no breakfast buffet, but the evening before you could pre-order breakfast, with a choice out of 4 different types. At this time it was possible to have breakfast in the canteen in the basement. - This hotel is provides good value for money and is suited if you are travelling on a budget. They accept foreigners.

The cleaning service was somewhat lacklustre. We went out for new years eve and were covered in confetti when we got back to the hotel and this wasn't cleaned up at all during the cleaning the next day. On the opposite end of the spectrum we had our do not disturb button on one morning because we were only leaving for a short time and then coming back hoping to sleep more after a late night. When we got back the DND button had been ignored and switched off and the room was cleaned, this is something I don't feel comfortable with at all. Over all the cleaning was very basic. We got free breakfast which was basic Chinese fair of noodles, fried rice or boiled dumplings. I would not recommend spending money for the breakfast as there are so many nicer places nearby to get breakfast and the drinks aren't very good. The coffee in particular was almost impossible to drink.

The Location is what makes this hotel super appealing. It's right around the corner from the pedestrian street and even after only having been to the hotel once finding it again late in the evening after a few drinks was easy. The rooms though small looked modern and were well maintained. The front desk staff was nice and helped when we asked where to go get the nucleic acid tests we needed in order to board our flight.

The restaurant is still closed so breakfast was delivered to the room (apparently nothing to do with Covid) but this made me feel like I was in quarantine again even though on the whole the breakfast was good (no fruit juice though)

Very helpful staff especially one called Hannah that could communicate fluently in English and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay not only in the hotel but Harbin itself.

It’s not very clean, the water of the shower is very weak. I booked with breakfast plan but arriving at the property the staff told me that there’s no space for us for the breakfast, so we didn’t have one.

The price of the hotel on booking.com is much more expensive than on other local sites, but we booked the place in less than 24hrs, so couldn't get a price-matching refund. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast and the parking is hard to find.

- We got an upgrade from Booking.com but the room was not for a five stars hotel, small rooms with basic amenities, they didn't gave us any tea or coffee. - The cleaning lady barely made our beds and she left the used uncleaned cups that we used. - We found out that the restaurant was closed when we arrived, booked a room with breakfast included but they said when we were there that it wouldn' happen. They charged the price without breakfast but we had to go out to find breakfast.

The hotel is at a walking distance to Saint Sophia's Church, thwe walking street, the cableway and a few malls.

There was no food available for breakfast or dinner. A real problem with 4 & 6 year olds - with low temperatures it felt like hunting and gathering food with varied success rates. There is a wonderful small restaurant on the road behind the hotel, which served local delicacies including an amazing hot pot, home made dumplings and cooked meat. There is also a large popular restaurant on the road behind the hotel too but we discovered that by accident as we were leaving the hotel. If you have kids, staying somewhere with a restaurant is a game changer.

Amazing location- less than 5 minutes walk (with a 4 & 6 year old) to the Main Street with malls and restaurants. Near the river and cable car to Sun Island.

It's a perfect place for visiting Harbin, especially if you're staying only a couple of days and want to visit as many things as possible. The central street is nearby as well as the metro. The location is ideal, the staff friendly and helpful, the room clean, and beds super comfy. The floor heating is also amazing 😍 It's our go to place when in Harbin!
