There is no elevator, but the staff helped us carry our luggage so it was not a big problem in the end.

Absolutely friendly and helpful staff! The service they provide is exceptional! Trips to sightseeing spots, massages and more can be organised easily through them. Beautiful rooms, nice food (western and numerous Chinese choices for breakfast) , we really enjoyed our stay. Not at all an average hotel - unique indeed! You will not regret it!

There is NOTHING we didn’t like. We LOVED EVERYTHING!

This hotel far EXCEEDED our expectations!!! Maggie and Helen treated us like honored house guests. Yes, the rooms were gorgeous!! Yes they were clean…and I am a picky one with clean! The lobby was so peaceful and inviting like a well appointed living room. The breakfast that was served daily was fantastic. All of that pales to how we were treated. They made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way. Our flight got in late, a sweet wonderful and beautiful face met us at the car and walked us in. Maggie walked us to a restaurant close by and put our orders in and answered all of our questions. This happened for each time we went somewhere. They were so very helpful and caring. They made sure we got to where we wanted to go and that we were able to get back to the hotel. I have never experienced such car from a business. We felt like family…as three middle aged women who only speak english, this was the perfect experience for us.

Exceptional staff. Exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. Well arranged interior with an artsy vibe. Despite not being in the city centre, the location is practical. The hotel is in a small quiet village in walking distance to the stalactite cave. The city centre can be reached via taxi or e scooter.

The only thing I would say is I had to sit in one of the chairs to view the mountains from my room from the bed it looked into another guesthouse.

After travelling with a group for a few weeks this hotel was exactly what I needed. They have thought of everything, remote controlled curtains, heated towel rack and a spa bath. The staff who work there are a credit to the hotel. They are extremely helpful and really look after you during your stay. I loved the location. A little out of town within the mountains but was very cheap in a taxi to get into town if you wanted to. I went for a sunrise hike and the views were breathtaking from the village! I would 100% stay here again.

The service has been perfect, the staff very nice and gentle. The strutture is wonerfully furnished, tidy and clean. Moreover it is in a very quiet area, at walking distance from the Flute cave. They helped us with taxi, laundry and very valuable recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was individually prepared with much care. Warmly recommended.

Everything exceeded our expectations.

Simply exceptional. We would give Guilin Bonjour a 12 out of 10 if possible. The staff were very welcoming and treated us like family. They were also extremely helpful, being available to our queries at all times, and they assisted us in every way possible. The location of the hotel is away from the centre but we preferred this serenity and the natural landscape all around. We could walk and cycle around the villages, surrounded by picturesque mountains, farms, lakes, and the river. The property is also a stone's throw away from a very good Chinese restaurant with wonderful ambiance. At the same time, getting to the centre is simple - around 15-20 minutes by taxi. As for the hotel itself, we were simply amazed by the spacious rooms, its layout, and amenities. The rooftop terrace offers an unparalleled view of the hilly terrain around. Overall, a truly cosy and heart-warming boutique hotel experience.

The staff made the check-in seamless and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a special stay. The location was also safe and convenient, a short walk from a delicious restaurant and easy to navigate to with DiDi.

We loved everything about Guilin Bonjour Boutique! Both Maggie and Helen were absolutely lovely and they were super helpful for our short stay. The room itself was so clean, so comfortable and it was everything we needed and more. The location of the hotel is in a little village called Lujiacun and into the ‘city centre’ where some attractions are - it’s a quick 15-20 minute DiDi. So many great food options in Guilin. It was so nice to come back to peace and quiet after an evening out for dinner. Amazing service and both Maggie and Helen made us an early breakfast before our cruise down to Yangshuo. We can’t recommend this hotel enough and we loved our stay.

I know they have already looked into it but you should be aware that location map on google takes you 1 km down the road to a military base of some sort. The guard actually walked us and pointed us in the right direction, clearly he had seen it before. And Meggy our sweetest customer service manager came out in the rain to find us walking back, which I can't imagine happening in many other parts of the world.

The staff service and willingness to attend every issue to ensure we had a relxing and easy stay was second to none. Their assistance to make arrangements were excellent bar the restaurant next door which was a proper tourist trap and made us put our guard up for the remaining of the trip but no fault of theirs, I just would recommend avoiding that particular restaurant.

We liked everything! The hotel is in an ancient village of Lujiacun, a bit far from the city centre but provides a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere for guests to relax in after a busy day of exploring. Starting from our arrival all the way to our reluctant departure, hotel staff treated us like VIPs. Maggie was waiting for us at the roadside, with umbrellas since it was drizzling a bit, and walked with us to the hotel. She helped carry our heavy backpacks up (no elevators) to our second floor room as well, which was much appreciated. A fruit platter and tea was served as a welcome treat. We enjoyed the various breakfast options offered, which was made fresh, every morning. Hai-Yan, the other lady whom we met as well, gave us pointers on sites to visit. She walked with us to the beginning of a walking trail to Reed Flute Caves to ensure that we embarked on the right trail for the walk. Everything we needed, they tried their best to help. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a very relaxing stay. It is very quiet at night, and close by is a restaurant where one can try local dishes. Also small street eateries are available around the village during the day. It is a bit far from the city center but a taxi ride will get you there in 15 minutes. Staff can arrange taxi or any excursion for their guests as well.

Absolutely incredible stay. Hotel room was clean, comfortable and what made the experience so exceptional were the staff. They helped us arrange tours, transportation, prepared beautiful breakfast and also helped us order food to the hotel and packed us a takeaway breakfast. Really felt special staying here. I can’t recommend this hotel enough! It was also very close to the town centre and main attractions in the area.

Fantastic little hotel in a cute village just outside Guilin and only 5 minutes drive to the Reed Cave. Classy, modern and large rooms facing the mountains. Extremely helpful staff that will arrange drop-off and pick-up, as well as Li River cruise at discounted rates. Top marks and highly recommended.

There was no TV as described in booking. More could be made of the alcove and view seating - currently a cheap fold up single chair and small table.

This is very close to Reed Flute cave and an excellent restaurant just next door. The receptionist was very helpful in moving me to a room with view as had appeared in the search. She also went beyond to help me organise a carpool for my onward journey. Lovely quiet location.
