Staff weren’t very friendly, breakfast is included in the price but if you’re leaving early they give you a really bad breakfast, said I could eat the cereal but couldn’t use milk unless I was staying until 8am. They also make you pay 7000 to stay in the common area after check out which hostels never do! Very expensive for what it is, also in a really weird location with no shops or restaurants

    Bed was comfy

It’s a bit outside of the city centre but you can take an Uber or taxi

One of my favourite hostels. Everything is super clean, the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. View from the common area is amazing. Would’ve liked to stay longer.

    - a bit far from the center, but is only 20 minutes walk so not really a big deal - very slow internet in the last room

+ Helpful and friendly receptionist + Comfy bed + Hot water + Good breakfast (I left before the official breakfast time and the receptionist prepared my breakfast so I could have it before leaving) + Clean sheets + Lockers + Warm rooms + Nice view from the balcony (over Magellan Strait) + Cosy common space with boardgames and reading area + Sockets near the bed

Staff could have been more attentive. Showers and bathroom wasn't clean. Hairs etc everywhere. No air condition, so not fresh air in the room if it's full. Please note this is not located in centrum, but it was walkable distance.

Very cozy place, near the sea, not so much people. It is nice that they provide breakfast.

We arrived around midday but were not allowed to stay because check in was 2 so we're kicked out. As we only had the one day we didn't come back until late and simply wasn't allowed to use what would have been probably quite nice facilities

    The hostel itself was fine

the location isn’t great, it’s a far walk from anything really except a couple small stores. and the one thing that really bothered me is that they kick you at check-out time, like you can’t hang around if you have a later bus or plane or whatever. and they’re pretty strict about it too. first time I’ve experienced this policy at a hostel before and it was quite strange. I had to go to the airport a few hours early which really wasn’t ideal

overall the property is great. facilities were fantastic, common area is really nice, and breakfast in the morning is wonderful

The room for 3 people was tiny. Even for one person its already tight. One of the bed was right by the bathroom door. -The toilet seat was broken. -No floor rug, with no shower door or curtains to prevent water from coming out the bathroom gets messy - no block out curtains for the ceiling window -shared living room was dirty. There was cheese and other crumbs on the floor -Smoking area should be downstairs outside the property not in the balcony where the common area is. I can smell the cigarette in my room. I am not sure how comfy their shared room but I don’t recommend the 3person private room. I am 5ft and my friends were also normal size people but this room is way too tiny.

Staff was helpful. Nice walk to the town.

Standards of cleanliness could have been a lot higher: a superficial clean had been done, but the floors and bathroom need much more attention to detail. Lots of things were broken or malfunctioning - the shower gel and shampoo dispenser did not work and there was no toilet roll holder. Both the basin and shower did not drain properly, making one wonder how well they were actually cleaned. Breakfast was very basic and the bread was dry. Despite there being two cereal dispensers, two different cereals were mixed.

The hostel was really flexible in accommodating arrival after their office hours. The staff member who organised this was very friendly and efficient. The hostel was only a cheap taxi ride from the centre of town, or a 30-40 walk, which could be done along the promenade that passed just across the road. The bed was comfortable enough. The hostel had a comfortable lounge area with a nice view.

Well, for starters, the guy manning the front desk was a bit COVID-cuckoo. I had walked about 2km with my luggage through Punta Arenas and my phone just about dead, and I was pretty cold. He wouldn't even let me inside the building without a mask. Then, he insisted on taking my temperature over and over again, despite the fact that my skin was so cold from the walk that the thermometer kept misreading my temperature. Then, he insisted on seeing my pase de movilidad, which was saved on my dead phone. Really, I just needed a smooth check-in process, but this guy was stuck 2 years in the past, clearly. Not a great first impression. However, the absolute worst part of the night was just trying to get to sleep in the room I was given to share with two young skater punks who insisted on listening to music on their smartphones until midnight. When I awoke, my head and neck were stiff, and I had not slept well. I hope to return to Punta Arenas someday, but I will almost certainly not be staying at Hostal Entre Vientos.

The location was decent, and the upstairs lounge area was pretty cool. Bathrooms seemed nice too, but I barely used them.

Distance to the centre, 20 minutes walking aprox. The shower cabines are a bit small. But that's all

Everything perfect. Clean and the living room is excellent, spacy and very comfortabke with a perfect view over The Magallan Street. The breakfest is good. The dorms are spacy too and thus offer some privacy. The beds are good.

its far off but you know that before. I suggest taking a taxi after a long bus ride but besides that you can take the busses/shuttles 8,13,130 there is no restaurant or supermarket close but on a day of bad weather i just ordered on PedidosYa (you have to choose a restaurant that allows cash payment)

the staff is excellent! the beds are comfortable and i like the shared bathroom situation a lot. Ih id extremely clean, the wifi works well and the breakfast is good. I had to leave one day befire breakfast time and they prepared that i could still have breakfast, the second floor is nice to hang out
