Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaWas not an issue, more like advice, but would recommend hiring an SUV as the road to the tiny home is a little rough at the end.
Location was lovely - set within the grape vines and with a lovely view across the valley capturing the sunset in the evening. Very private and peaceful - we ended up staying for 4 nights after booking 2. The tiny home was well equipped with everything we needed. Location is very close to a couple of beautiful wineries that offer tasting, lunch and ours. Recommend Casas del Bosque and Kingston.

SwitzerlandI absolutely loved the peacefulness of this property. Surrounded by vineyards, the cabin offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature,l that’s perfect for relaxation. The rural charm of the cabin adds to its allure, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat. Additionally, its proximity to local wineries makes it an ideal base for exploring the region’s renowned wine culture. Overall, I would rate this property a perfect 10/10 for its ambiance, location, and overall experience.

NetherlandsSuch a unique stay, in a beautiful location! Amazing to relax after a busy day & enjoy the view. Sunset over the vineyard was unreal. Bed was so cozy and airco was a plus. You cook breakfast yourself but they supply everything you might need, which adds to the experience. Host was helpful and responsive!

United StatesNothing... But note that a car is needed to stay here.
Great location. The view and sunset from the hill in the vineyard was pretty, peaceful, private. Very clean and fully equipped, even with all the little things needed to make breakfast, eggs, milk, bread, jam, honey salt, oil, etc. Comfortable beds. Loved the outdoor patio. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Self check-in and the owner had great communication via WhatsApp, even when we couldn't figure out how to turn on the stovetop. Easy distance from Santiago airport. Makes a perfect stop for the night before or after an international flight. It's across the road from Casas del Bosque winery, which has great winery tours and a self-guided bike tour through their vineyard.

The location is stunning! It’s very serene with a million dollar view. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was very strong - no limited hot water either. It takes 5-7 minutes to get to the main road but then you’re so close to town. The signage on the property actually makes it very easy to find. Ignacio is wonderful and very communicative. The tiny cabin has quite a bit of storage - three of us had no issue sharing the space. We loved our time here and would highly recommend it!

United StatesWI-FI needs improvement. Stairs are a little narrow carrying suitcases, especially for older folks who can’t afford to fall. (we are in our 60’s and did fine but…). Hair dryer needs upgrade.
Owner seemed very nice and was very responsive. Beautiful views. Good AC. Excellent hot water and pressure in shower. Kitchen acceptable.

United Kingdomit was quite hard to get to by taxi as it isn’t well known by taxi drivers but the tourist information in the central plaza rang Ignacio who then spoke with the taxi driver. It did also require the taxi to drive on the dirt track around the vineyard field up to the accommodation which he didn’t seem to mind but maybe some drivers wouldn’t have wanted to do!
Amazing views and really peaceful. We have been staying in hostels so this was a great upgrade as a treat for one night! We walked to Casa del Bosque vineyard which was lovely for a tour and tasting and took about 25 mins to get to.

United StatesThe location is tricky (you must have a phone map to guide you) and if you don't have a car you will have to coordinate with the host. And, the wifi was unstable, so prepare for that if you plan to read, work., or do anything requiring internet. We used Booking.com, and luckily we had cash on hand, but the property requires a cash payment, which can be challenging if are planning to use a credit card.
What a memorable at Echazerreta stay! My husband and I stayed at the tiny house in Echazerreta Vineyards for three nights. What a beautiful stay. I will admit I didn’t know what to expect, as we chose a “tiny house” that is a bit off the beaten path, but I am very glad that we did. The location is tranquil, beautiful, and next door to Casa del Bosque vineyards. We were able to walk to the vineyard, which was a nice bonus because we never want to drink and drive. We had lunch and visited the store, but they also have many tours to take advantage of. Of course, the house was small, but it fulfilled our needs, and it was very serene. When we arrived, our host had provided bread, eggs, juice, coffee and tea for our stay. This was awesome because when you travel a lot you don’t always have time to get the essentials you will need. It was a very special touch that we truly appreciated. The house was well appointed with a nice kitchen, stove and toaster oven, A/C, and hot shower and hot water throughout. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but we were in the middle of a vineyard, so we understood the instability. It is not good for serious video meetings, so if you have any booked, you may want to find a location in town. Our host, Ignacio, was very responsive. He heled us with any issue right away. The vineyard is beautiful and waking up to the hillsides is remarkable. As mentioned, it is off the beaten path, so you are not next door to cafes and restaurants, but all of the essentials are about 10-15 minutes away. The only thing to be aware of is that the location is not easy to find, so I recommend using both Apple and Google maps. We had better luck with Apple maps. We luckily ran into our host, and he showed us the way to the house. And, he only takes cash so be sure to have efectivo on hand.

United StatesWifi didn't work while we were there. Also property is difficult to find, there needs to be a signpost on the main road to at least advertise its location
