Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Turkeybecouse of the issues i had to change rooms 3 times in one day, the cards for the room was only working for couple hours and i had to go down to the reception and change the card to get in to the room. and there was no room service . also we wanted to get ice and they didnt give

United Arab EmiratesThe facilities and interior are quite tired and dated. The photos make it look more modern than in actuality. The room key frequently didn't work requiring multiple repeat visits to reception for new ones. The ac didn't work brilliantly and was extremely noisy. The towels, while branded with the hotel name, are a little threadbare. The toiletries were not refreshed when the room was cleaned. You have to ask reception for a little packet of tea and coffee - they aren't provided in the room (nobody tells you this at check-in). Room wasn't very big. One side lamp didn't work - the other was askew. WiFi isn't very strong.
The location is excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good - it has a mix of hot food and continental. They were happy to provide a boxlunch for me when I was going on a day tour leaving before breakfast opened. Structurally the building is interesting and attractive. It has a little pool and nice outdoor seating area. Has WiFi. They let me keep my bag in storage until my later departure for the airport.

CanadaThe beds were a little soft. We had to leave very early and a woman at the reception told us that she could order us a box breakfast to take with but, in fact, she forgot so there needs to be better coordination between different shifts at the reception desk.
The room was quite comfortable but without any real individuality. Everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly.

Really comfortable room of a good size. Staff were really helpful, resolving an issue with the shower within an hour, giving restaurant recommendations and booking an airport taxi for us. Hotel is located in a quiet peaceful part of Santiago where we felt safe.
