Breakfast was not included even though room rate is so high. Room was standart and smaller than i expected, which is so pricy . There is a gap in the door of bathroom, which is not a problem for me but for couples its not suitable. The street is noisy.

They had provided slippers and a kettle which I requested before arriving at the hotel. I appreciated. The receptionist was also friendly. The hotel is close to the train station and lake. The room and bathroom was clean and modern

The sweet lady at the front desk was amazing! So professional, helpful, friendly and kind. We did everything, including making our breakfast there every morning fantastic! She’s a gem and the heart and soul of the hotel. Everything else was great and we had a wonderful time.

No air conditioning and no bar fridge. Also, breakfast should be included in the price. We chose not to include it as an option based off of other reviews.

The property was perfectly located close to Lake Geneva, the Old Town and to the train station. The hotel room itself was average itself but clean. The room unfortunately doesn't have air conditioning, which would be problematic on a summer's evening as the room didn't get my ventilation despite keeping the windows open by night. It would be great if they included a bar fridge and a few other amenities that you find in most other hotels 3 stars and above.

Reception is not 24/7 but oh can drop by the restaurant if something is needed. However, this is not a big deal nor negative. Certainly, there is no AC in the rooms but the fan sufficed. One point to improve could be adding a small fridge or minibar in the room

Well located. A few minutes only from the train station and around the corner of one of the main avenues near the lake. Rooms are spacious (specially the bathroom, which was quite nice) and clean. You also have Plantat space to leave your clothes (shells and closets). Trying the restaurant downstairs is a must!

The bathroom was a little on the small side. Not sure if it was just the weather when we were there, but the room seemed very hot indeed.

The location was absolutely superb - close to the lake, not far from the railway station and the wonderful old town.

The pillows were extremely uncomfortable (practially unusable), which really impacts the quality of sleep, unfortunately. Sleep is very important, in particular during a vacation. The TV was old and without the possibilty to use netflix etc. Considering price, location, staff etc. the Hotel would go from my rating of 7 to easily a 9 if the rooms had better pillows. A normal pillow from Ikea would certainly be a huge (and cheap) upgrade.

The hotel/"apartment" was very spacious, with a big bed and a nice shower. The location is amazing, very close to the water, the city and the train station. Further, the hotel has a restaurant connected to it, with fair prices (relative to schwitzerland) for delicious homemade pasta. The hotel staff and the waiters of the restaurant were friendly.

It would be better if the room had an air conditioner. It will be suitable for the summer vacation.

The lake is right across from the hotel. We enjoyed our after-dinner walk around the lake very much. The La Rouvenaz restaurant is very good. I recommend people try it.

Everything is great!

One of the best experiences I ever had when it comes to hotels. Both Francois and Palmi have demonstrated high level of customer service and patience. I will definitely stay in La Rouvenaz during my next visit of Montreux. Especially Room 500 :) You can write books about this room. Great job to hotel owners, managers and professional front office personnel.

It was a pity our room didn’t have air-conditioning, but we can understand this area rarely has such hot days. It was wonderful to have 2 windows, and the pedestal fan kept the room cool.

The room was spacious, and had a very comfortable bed, a desk and chair. The walk-in shower is easier for older people to enter. There was a large wardrobe, with extra hanging space and a baggage rack. The location was very good, with a short walk from the station to the water front and the hotel. The restaurant next door serves quality food.

Due to the hot weather, we needed the window open and the location being in centre of city was noisy due to restaurants and night life until around 12pm.

Room right in town, with restaurants around. Room very clean, beds very comfortable. A bottle of water and glasses was provided and appreciated. An excellent quiet fan was provided in the room, which was perfect to manage the hot, humid weather.

As we get older, stepping up and down into a bath tub for a shower becomes more problematic. Otherwise all was very good

Efficient and helpful bi-lingual staff at check-in. A lift to 4th floor was great with luggage, and the pedestal fan in the room vital in the warm night, allowing us to close the windows to keep out any noise. The bathroom was huge, almost as big as our room.
