It takes about 5 minutes by bus to get there, and it's very convenient as the bus stop is just around the corner. There’s a restaurant downstairs offering paid breakfast and dinner. The manager is very friendly, and the staff member is a Chinese woman who is also very nice. It's a 10-minute walk to Lake Geneva, and the bathroom has a bathtub, plus there’s a small balcony and a capsule coffee machine.”

“The location was perfect. Hotel Splendid sits right on the main street with waterfront and mountain views.
We had a lake view verandah room that was large, very clean and very comfortable. It had snowed in the Alps a couple of days prior to our arrival so all the mountains around the lake were snow capped which just added to the beauty of this town.
We were greeted warmly and our room was ready for us to check in early. We also received a Travel Pass Card which enabled us free transport on all local buses, we also used the card to visit Chillon Castle that gave us half price entry. The Breakfast Room was bright and airy and had outside tables if you wanted to sit outside. Good selection of fresh food and the scrambled eggs were cooked when requested so they were hot and fluffy.
Hotel Splendid is a great place to stay if you want to be in an area close to good restaurants and the Freddy Mercury Statue.”
