Beautiful property, clean modern updated rooms with incredible views of the valley. Sauna and Jacuzzi open till late. Proximity to Ski Lift and Train. You can literally ski down to the hotel. Very convenient location. Staff is super friendly, Sanya was super nice and made us feel welcome. Home atmosphere. Breakfast are super delicious..

We had stayed at Caprice in 2014 and did not think our return visit could match the exceptional experience we had the first time. To our delight it was every bit as good. The rooms had been refurbished and were in immaculate condition - spacious, comfortable and with great storage for our bags and belongings. The bathroom is modern, with good storage and bench space and has excellent shower facilities. The view from our bedroom and from the restaurant is a marvelous vista of mountains and alpine village. The restaurant has an exceptional chef, so breakfast was great and we regretted not taking the half board option. That option makes dinner very good value!

Not one thing was disliked

We loved everything about this hotel, it was close to the train station so was not a hassle pushing cases, the staff were wonderful and always helpful. The food, breakfasts and dinners were amazing, but the Jungfrau and Eiger views are out of this world, the Lauterbrunnen valley views are equally as stunning. To be able to sit on your balcony and soak up the views was incredible. We would love to return.

I had a great two nights here. The staff were friendly, the dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the view from the room was beautiful. SPA is also very comfortable. The location of the hotel is very good. The town is very quiet and beautiful, I will stay here next time.

We just spent 3 wonderful days at Maya Caprice hotel, and we loved everything about it! The location of couldn’t be more perfect, less than a minute walking from the train station. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and offering breathtaking views of Lauterbrunnen Valley, and the gorgeous mountains surrounding it. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of options, the restaurant where we ate every evening was wonderful, the food and the service were outstanding! Also, the staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back in one day.

The room was perfect, it was clean and tidy and the view was spectacular. The staff were hands down amazing! they heard we were leaving at 5 in the morning and were not able to attend for breakfast, so they packed us up a bag of snacks for us to take on our travels the night before. Their restaurant was on time and the food was heavenly, we ate there two nights and both times it was excellent.!

An excellent view outside of balcony, with hills and mountains, even a waterfall. Staffs are very nice, restaurant food are delicious! And just 1min walk from Wengen train station. Love it!

Everything was amazing. The view from our balcony was breath taking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated right beside the train station. We loved sauna and jacuzzi. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food is delicious. Thank you, Maya Caprice for having us .

The location to the cog train tracks. The noise is not excessive, however could be heard in the morning. This may have been more noticeable in my room since it was on the end of the property.

The staff were a bit less than friendly, but not a huge issue. Just always seemed like they had something better to do. Also, it didn’t seem clear when breakfast was served- we went down for 7:30 for the buffet only to find the hot food didn’t start until 8. Just something to note.

The rooms (and bathrooms!) were exactly as pictured- clean, felt almost new, and our room had beautiful Mountain Views! It was also larger than expected and included a couch and two chairs, in addition to a dresser/closet etc. The beds were a little more firm than my personal preference, but we still slept great every night. Also FUN FACT! The spa is free to use for guests!! We did a VERY difficult 10 mile hike and our feet were killing us. Wanted a little spa time and asked how much it would cost, only to find it came at no additional cost! Ended up throwing on our robes/slippers and heading down to use the sauna, Amaizng outdoor hot tub and foot reflexology thing. The location is EXCELLENT! Maybe 100 steps from the train (though we never heard it) and close walking to town. Such an amazing visit!

Hot tub temp wasn't hot enough but otherwise everything was great.

Hotel was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and remembered details you may have shared with them earlier which is lovely considering how many people they must liaise with everyday. They were also able to give great recommendations on activities in the surrounding area. Food was lovely, probably one of the best in the area.

The Hotel Caprice is a little gem. From the amazing views of the Jungfrau to the charming dining room and lounge area. Our room was comfortable and the view was spectacular from the balcony. One of the great surprises was the chef. Each morning we were presented with the evening menu and we ate dinner there twice. The chef is very talented and the dinners prepared with incredible flavor and local variety. I will be writing a separate review for the restaurant! We could have stayed longer and will return again!
