Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaNot the hotels fault but people were partying on our floor until after 4;00 a.m. Definitely put a damper on our stay. But, we asked for a late checkout the next day and the staff was very accommodating. Other than the noise, it was a pleasant stay.

CanadaSad to say, but there are no elevators and carrying luggage up staircases for a senior is rather challenging ie. stiff, achy joints carrying luggage up stairs as well as balance issues on staircases when loaded down. Wish there was some solution for us seniors. Also hot tub in pool room wasn't operating during our stay.
The hotel was easy to find. We reserved a king room and were given a king room with a jacuzzi tub....that was a special surprise and was so awesome. We'll definitely be back to relax in that. In-house restaurant was great and staff very friendly. We enjoyed the pool very much.

CanadaThe hotel is run down and disappointing when you walk in and expect something different. The pool looks like it either doesn't get cleaned or needs to be repainted on the bottom. Hallways are dark and outdated. The beds were firm and uncomfortable - as well there were only 2 pillows on each bed instead of 4 . It wasn't even a deal to stay in this hotel that clearly needs updating. We were disappointed as staying in a hotel should feel like a fun getaway in a nice place- this felt more like a motel not hotel experience.
