We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

BelgiumBreakfast is not worth that name. I just had a glass of juice and a cookie in the morning. I guess some people might feel unsafe since you can just walk in and out of the hotel unnoticed (there was often no one at the reception desk) but it did not really bother me. The standard rooms (some?) are a bit worn but I was very happy with mine (upgraded, with view towards the center).
Super friendly welcome at reception. I received an upgrade when I mentioned I had come all the way from Belgium to visit Gordon Lightfoot's hometown. Perfect location to walk to the Lightfoot statue near Lake Couchiching and the town center. I even walked to the cemetery. The wonderful restaurant "The Common Stove" on Mississaga street is a few minutes' walk and not to be missed!! There is no cleaning service if you only stay for a few days but I found that quite nice because no one's bothering you. Good coffee machine in the room. I felt very comfortable and "free" since no one bothered me about anything :-).

CanadaThe room we were booked into was the size of a closet. For 2 people in the the room we had to take turns to walk in front of the bed to get to the bathroom. There was only 1 chair in the room so 1 person had to sit on the bed to have a drink etc. I suppose this property also has rooms in the basement so I am glad at least we were above ground. The biggest disappointment was the price we paid to sleep in the closet.
The room was clean and had all necessary amenities.

CanadaWe requested a handicapped room. Loved the step in shower and the inside and out. Hubby didn't like the roll desk chair that swivels as he only got one cheek on and almost fell off, trying to put on his socks.

CanadaThe room was fairly small - my son and I felt a little on top of each other, more suitable for a couple. For price, there are few amenities (pool, hot tub or something like that). Breakfast was passable. The hook on the back of my bathroom door fell out of the door when I hung my pants on it... :)
Friendy reception, clean facilities and great location, free parking, restaurant (Fionn McCools) had good food and a discount for staying at hotel was a nice bonus.

CanadaStaff were maybe a little to friendly, I did not need so many personal details. Was only one staff member working when we checked in and about 4 people in line, she seemed very flustered and had a hard time keeping up with what was going on. While the staff were very friendly and helpful, it seemed that every time I went past the front desk they had a friend with them who was not a staff member, however it was hard to tell because none of them wore a uniform or anything representing the hotel or even professional looking. When checking in the staff member was wearing a camo hat and a winter jacket.
Room and hotel were nice and updated. Staff were friendly.
