Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The gentleman on reception was extremely helpful. The room was clean, well appointed, spacious and exceeded our expectations. The bed was very comfortable.

United StatesTowels and linens had been washed in extremely strong scent which my wife is highly allergic to. We should have asked about this, but hadn’t since our experience with commercial properties is that they provide hypoallergenic bed linens and towels as a matter of course. We will make sure to make this request for all future bookings whether it be for one night or more, and even if it is a motel, hotel or other type of commercial lodging.

CanadaWhen I got to my room at 8:30 in the evening, the air conditioner was running and the window was wide open. This was a strange thing to find when the weather outside was rainy and 8 degrees. I'm not sure that the heat ever came on in the room, so it was cool. Otherwise, expectations were met.
TV, WIFI worked well. Room was simple and clean. Quiet location. Great place for a one night stopover on my trips to or from the coast.

CanadaFor the type of motel, there is not anything I didn't like and I see it improving over time.
I love this motel. While older in style, it is well taken care of and each time i come here, there are improvements. It is affordable and located very close to shops and food establishments. It is owner run so you get a personal experience of him. He's friendly and helpful. The room is very clean; The bed is comfortable; the bedding, pillows and towels in the bathroom seem replaced recently which is much appricated; the room with one queen bed had lots of floor space and tv worked easily. This is the fourth or fifth time I've stayed and enjoy it more and more.

GermanyThe main switch for the heating was switched off (and not visible), what no one expects this time of the year, so heating didn't work. 3 degrees morning temperature -froze my butt off. Otherwise would have given 9 points. A spoon or stick to twist the coffee would be helpful.
