Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A great location within walking distance to numerous restaurants and food markets. Just 1.5kms to trains to the city in one direction or airport in the other, running every few minutes.

United KingdomThe Main Street coach house was the perfect place for my stay in Vancouver. It had everything needed to feel like a home away from home with wonderful touches throughout the property including luxurious towels and bedding, a fully equipped kitchen and ample closet space. Shirley was such a wonderful hostess and met me upon arrival to explain how everything worked which was appreciated. She also went out of her way to introduce me to a business contact whose services were needed as part of my visit to Vancouver. The location is also fantastic with a 24 hour bakery around the corner and excellent dining and shopping options all along Main Street. I've stayed in various places in Vancouver and I would say the Main Street coach house is the best placed I've booked.

CanadaMore comfortable places to lounge would be nice. The couch was pretty small and didn't have anywhere to put your feet up, and besides that, it was just the bed or the kitchen table (the kitchen table chairs weren't very comfortable though).
The location was awesome, it was bright and very clean, and it was very well-equipped with complimentary coffee, tea, and some basic cooking ingredients (oil, salt, pepper, sugar, etc.). The hosts were very nice and informative, and the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet given that it's close to a busy street.

This is a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and amenities, and it's very safe. The coach house is like a well appointed studio apartment which is very quiet.

United StatesIts in a great area but can be a bit noisy in the morning (garbage collection, cars going to work) but it’s the city, so it’s expected.
we have stayed at a few homes and by far this was the best equipped. They thought of every possible thing to make you comfortable. The shower is awesome with heated floors. The appliances are top notch. The bed is comfy with extra cozy blankets.

IrelandFrom the moment we arrived, it was wonderful. Our host, Shirley, was so kind, friendly and welcoming. She recommended where to go to eat, public transport etc. She left us a bottle of wine, as we were on our honeymoon. Location was fantastic, so close to public transport, nice cafes,restaurants and bars on our street, also very close to queen Elizabeth Park, which was lovely! Spotlessly clean, had everything you could imagine and more. Have highly recommended to family and friends already Can't say good enough things about it!
