The wifi is crap at the lodge. That along with no TV in the room doesn't leave a lot of options for a solo traveller for evening entertainment. Luckily I had several books and many crossword puzzles. The room was quite small with no closet or chair to sit in. As I am older and arthritic, a chair is helpful when putting on my shoes.

The breakfast was good, with perhaps the best pain au chocolat outside of France. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The balcony had a limited view but the sound of the waves reaching the shore was ever so relaxing.

Lovely setting at Middle Beach. Great for exploring Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park. Comfortable and beautiful lodge (common room). Lovely breakfast, and freshly baked cookies in the evening. Peaceful and relaxing. Happy that we chose MBL.

This is NOT a complaint but anyone wanting to stay here that can't get up stairs easily should make sure they book a room on the first floor. There is no elevator (and I am not sure its possible to have one).

The room had a fabulous view of the ocean. Everything was clean and the food was excellent, especially the sourdough bread that came with the dinner I went to twice. The Beach Lodge has warm cookies in the evening!! There is also a large common room in each lodge with a fireplace and comfy seating that is the perfect location for some quiet reading. Love, love, LOVE this place.

Room has sink on side in bedroom not the bathroom but considering the value and all the rest it is small concern. As stated in description, it fits with rustic feeling.

On wonderful middle beach. Great location. Very relaxed and comfortable. Breakfast included, very good. Easy access to all day into evening, tea and coffee. Staff extremely pleasant and accommodating. Large grounds, near access to other beaches, Pacific Rim Park. Accommodations are all in rustic wood and fit with nature surroundings.

Loved staying here. It was outside Tofino and on the beach. The location was excellent. The facilities provided were great too (included breakfast, included free tea and coffee throughout the day, big communal area if you wanted to sit somewhere comfortable and watch the ocean). The room was comfortable and clean, so were the beds. And best of all, a black bear visited the beach one morning and it was awesome. Oh, it was also a fantastic spot to watch the Aurora borealis when it was going off. Loved staying here.

The room was very small for the price, but if all you need is a place to rest your head at the end of the day, the room was great for that! The breakfast was nice, but if I’m to give a constructive criticism, it could have used some more fresh fruit or something, as it was very bread-heavy, but overall a really wonderful experience! I would ABSOLUTELY go back!

Open kitchen, there is always noice coming from dishwashers and stuff when you are in the lobby by the fireplace… that is such a pitty Rooms are on the small side. No storage space for clothes Seems to be managed by youngsters, no real hotel management visible

The cabins are cosy and peaceful with everything you could need for a great stay in Tofino. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was great (dinner should be booked in advance) and the views from the lounge are beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel, we hope to return.

Struggling to find fault!

The setting of this place is phenomenal, loved the rustic feel. Listening to the sound of the ocean as I fell asleep was pretty special. The views, the free coffee on tap and the lush breakfast was amazing. Can't rate this place enough!

Great hotel, the location is amazing, especially to see the sunset. Our suite was great, very spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a short drive to Tofino town and there are lots of amenities close by you can walk to at the McKenzie beach resort. Would 100% recommend and love to return one day.
