I found that it was extremely long walk to our room. I would have appreciated being let know there were other elevators closer to our room. I also found the rise in middle of hall carpets most disconcerting and almost lost balance a couple of times.

I never knew there was breakfast. I would have liked to know that.

Should have a separate fan/light in the bathroom. I received an email from The Coast after booking reminding me of the COVID protocols and that I was required to "show my VAX papers". This is so far outdated it is kind of ridiculous.

Cigarette smoke and cannabis smoke smells came into our room both nights from outside. We were on ground level. There was some dust behind bedside tables, but otherwise quite clean.

Renovations were underway —which was totally understandable. Some noisy fellow guests were being loud outside front entrance and in their room. Noise travels. But staff were courteous. Pool needs a little work perhaps. Access to excellent on-site restaurant/bar: Firestone

The bench by the door was covered in crumbs of some sort. There was a coffee pod left in the coffee maker. There was a lot of door slamming and noise as I was close to the elevator. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim, and made it impossible to do makeup.

The bed was comfortable although some of the pillow cases need to be replaced.

Mostly excellent service, but the whole place is a little run down and a little small town ticky-tacky. Housekeeping was mediocre with soiled carpet at the room entrance, easily shampooed out but not done, and an abandoned black T-Shirt in the wardrobe - how could competent housekeeping miss those? The restaurant was OK, decent menu, with one outstanding exception - mini creme brule for $3. Outstanding! Perfect! Most creme brule is overweight, over-wrought, too much and excessive. This perfect taste and quantity alone will bring us back. Many kudos to our server, Jacob. Friendly yet properly formal, knowledgeable and attentive.

The staff were extremely and friendly. They accommodated our moving truck in their parking lot. The beds were comfortable and it was a comfortable stay when driving through!

The bathrooms are tiny and rooms a bit dated, Had to ask for coffee / tea as housekeeping only done by request.

The location is great, 5 minute walk to the ball field, right on main street so great access to shops and eateries. The on site pub / restaurant is EXCELLENT.

The beds were very firm and pillows too soft. The noise level coming from patrons in the bar and other guests was a disturbance to a good sleep

There was a large event going on downstairs which was quite noisy so I wish we would have known this before booking. It did end early enough though that it didn't bother us or impact our sleep. Our friends booked the same room and when we visited them we found their room was much larger (better layout) than ours; I wish we could have picked between layouts to have a bit more walking room.

The price was good for the quality of room. We had a king room and the bed was massive. Room was clean. Mini fridge is nice to have. Staff when we checked in were very friendly and answered all of our questions.

My pillow was lumpy, like really flat and lumpy. The bed had not been cleaned, and there was a business card hiding in the sheets. There was hair in the sink. I just feel like the room wasn't cleaned well.

We liked the fact that my husband's work Christmas Party was in the same building. We book a room here every year for this party, this year was a disappointment.
