Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaWe received the wrong bill from other room, the reception lady was not very attentive. We even had to return to the hotel to clarify the situation. Quite troublesome to watch movies, either you pay for it 20 bucks per movie or spend half an hour connecting own devices to the TV to stream.
It is great location, the service is very good. Staff is friendly and welcoming. We celebrated our special anniversary and hotel staff made everything possible to make our day special! The grill restaurant is outstanding, we got great dining experience! I will definitely come back!

CanadaThe hot tub jets were not working in one of the hot tubs and there was a lot of floating debris. Perhaps could use a clean a but more often.
Our room was very comfortable. The service throughout the hotel was very responsive and extremely friendly. The gold lounge was a delight and the food was exceptional.

United States of AmericaFor the price I paid, I would have appreciated better toilet tissue. I had to use about 3 times what would be normal because it was so flimsy. Also, a new recipe for the nachos. Most of the meals I ate on-site were really good (although expensive for my taste), but the nachos could use some work. All of our meals (except nachos) were good, but just too much food. Maybe cut back on the portions & charge less. None of our group could eat everything we were served, & it's so sad to waste so much food.
Staff was wonderful! Everyone, from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping, etc were great! Jonathon (concierge) was especially helpful to me & my friend with activities at the hotel & the area. But, everyone was really exceptional.

BelgiumNothing at all!
We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys luxury treatment: from the valet, to the service desk, to the pool boys, to the manager,... all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! We got some extra treats to make up for a mistake with our breakfast order, the staff went above and beyond to make things right! Our room was very large and equipped with everything we needed and wanted. Pool area was big enough so you could relax in peace and not be disturbed by other guests. We'd love to come back next time we visit Whistler.

CanadaThe hotel parking is quite far from the hotel, and they do have closer parking available, but it is insanely expensive at $40 per night. Furthermore, the room service breakfast is much more expensive than dining in the restaurant. Also, we encountered an issue with using the fridge to store our wine. They have an electronic counter that automatically charges your account whenever something is removed from the fridge. We had to prove we did not consume our returned bottles while storing our bottles, as many erroneous charges came on the account. Also, Wifi did not work in the room, and they were unsure why; we did not bother since we had our phones and internet with us. Additionally, while restaurants are available, the prices are eye-watering, so it is advisable to budget at least $150-200 for dinner for two. For the same amount of money we paid for two nights, you could spend three nights at a top hotel in Las Vegas, including airfare; that's how expensive a Whistler resort is. If you are not set on staying at the Whistler Resort, other more affordable options may offer better value for your money. One touch I would add is that there was lack of vegetables in the breakfast buffet, its mostly meats.
I had a fantastic experience. The staff was super friendly from the moment we arrived and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, nestled close to a beautiful forest, providing a serene and comfortable atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredibly comfortable mattress – we slept like babies every night! We also appreciated the extended pool hours, which allowed us to enjoy a relaxing swim at our convenience. The pool and sauna facilities were top-notch and added a touch of luxury to our stay. Breakfast each morning was a treat with a delicious variety of options that satisfied all our cravings. The live music in the evening created a wonderful ambiance and made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. The hotel also boasts a great selection of restaurants, each offering a unique and delectable menu. Overall, it was a very nice place that exceeded all our expectations. We can't wait to return for another visit!

SingaporeInconsistent timing of housekeeping. Would be useful to have a "Please make up my room" sign when we are going out. Portobello restaurant makes very disappointing drip coffee. The Nespresso coffee in the room is a lot better.
Shuttle bus to Whistler Village every 15 to 20 mins is very convenient. Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to Blackcomb Gondola and Ascent Trail.
