Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location enroute to Prince Edward Country, right on Hwy 2, just off the 401. Nice short cut on Hwy 64 to Carrying Place and the Loyalist Hwy into The County. Lovely property. Most friendly hosts ever and attentive to every detail. So helpful. Delicious breakfast and great conversation, almost late for my meeting. Smile.

CanadaOne very minor thing. The ceiling fan needed an extension so it can be reached without climbing on the bed. I mentioned that to one of the hosts and he was very glad because he hadn't thought of that.
The hosts were very personable, friendly and fun. I really enjoyed talking to them. They have had very interesting lives. The accommodations were fine. With even a little sitting room with a desk. And the hosts really cared that I was satisfied and were open to any concerns I might have had.

CanadaI would put a sign right on the roadside as it can be a bit tricky finding it especially if it is late! Make sure you take note of the side street it is on .
The home is charming, beautifully furnished with antiques and a gorgeous garden...not to mention the hosts are the best! You can't go wrong, it's lovely.

CanadaTotally beyond the host’s control is the frequent trains on the nearby railway which is the main corridor between Toronto and Montreal. It didn’t bother me because I’m a heavy sleeper - but might affect some guests.
Burke and Ken make this place the special place it is. Truly the most wonderful people. Property is beautiful and the inside is truly unique - preserving of life’s little treasures.

The hosts, Ken and Burke are kind, helpful and genuine people. The breakfast are incredible, they go over and above expectations. Those apple pancakes are delicious. The luscious gardens and wildlife around the house are beautiful and well maintained. We are happy to have met them during our stay as we had a great time & conversations together and we hope to be back soon!
