The only things I didn’t really love were that the house had a slightly bad smell, the floor of the pool change rooms was a little gross and there was some note in the house saying we would be charged extra money if we didn’t take out our garbage. None of these are deal breakers and I’d happily go back, but considering the price you pay per night these were things I would expect to be better/covered.

We stayed in unit 106. It had a nice view over the property and to the lake. The house was impeccably clean and my kids loved all the stuff they could do there - tubing hill, pool, games room. It was well located to Huntsville and Algonquin park.

More cooking equipment, a second rack in oven. DVD player didn’t work well and controller needed batteries.

Size and layout of The Hilltop was great. very clean and warm. 2 Beds not comfortable-we rolled into the middle. Lovely pool saunaandhottub. Good gameroom. Lots of dining and kitchen space, and rooms for activities. Great fireplace and wood supply.

The description in the website says it includes dishwasher but in the actual chalet, it does not. we didn't bring disposable so we end up washing dishes which takes time considering the number of people.

The geese have taken over the grounds. There is poop everywhere. This was the first time I've encountered them there. It is a problem and something needs to be done about it or the grounds will not be useable.

Loved the location and being on the beautiful lake. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Everyone at the resort is attentive and helpful. Our third stay there and we'll be back.

We booked this (rather than other places) specifically because it said the second bedroom had two single beds. When we arrived it was a double and there were no properties available with single beds. There was a sofa bed in the lounge area - that was far from an ideal solution but better than nothing. The staff were apologetic and tried to find alternatives but there were none available. It was just a bit disappointing given the details provided when we booked.

The studio was really for 2 and not so much for 3; it lacked an extra chair and there was no curtain in front of the front door facing the bed. We covered the door with a towel but this is not how it should be. The studio as a whole felt a bit old and outdated. This is why we felt that, despite the beautiful location, it was rather expensive.

Location is beautiful with nice amenities such as a pool and game room. The private beach at the lake is simply great with kayaks, boats etc free to use. We loved it! Personnel was very friendly.

The cottage is showing a lot of wear and tear! Need new mattresses on beds. The double bunk bed combination does not work. Either just double bed or two twin beds would be better. Countertops are broken, cracking and splitting. Given they are laminate, would not be expensive to replace and would suggest keep it light in colour. Need a new barbecue. Too rusted and filthy too cook on directly. Had to use tin foil. Kitchen table top totally worn. Could simply lightly sand it and reseal same. Was surprised that cottage was not completely air conditioned. Only one air conditioner in living room. Should have air conditioners in bedrooms as well. Several boats and paddles were broken, as well as table tennis paddles. Overall maintenance of the property is lacking. Also better cleaning would be nice rather than “a lick and a promise” approach.

The setting and resort grounds beautiful. The beach and lake were fabulous. Lots of Muskoka and lounge chairs with shade umbrellas. Stayed in premium cottage, Deerview and indeed spotted deer right outside one morning. Amenities like indoor swimming pool, games room and water equipment lovely to have available. The Muskoka room in our cottage was truly magnificent. Lovely and peaceful setting. Only 15 minute drive to Huntsville.

The site based vehicles can be a little loud in the morning time going about their duties. But other than that the place is top class.

There is no on-site shop so you must come prepared.

Excellent location and fantastically set up for a family vacation. Canoe's, paddle boats, kids sand toys, recliner beach chairs, umbrellas etc. all included in the accomodation. Private beach was a major bonus with sand and a flat area for kids to play safely without getting in other guests way. Extremely well kept with the sand being raked daily, very clean pool and facilities.

The cottage was a little small for 5 people.

Great amenities, pool, lake swimming, kayaking, tennis, sauna, ping pong, billiards, etc. There was something for the teenagers to do all the time. It was close to Huntsville for shopping and dining (15 - 20 mins by car) and Algonquin Park (absolutely beautiful) was about the same distance as well. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable.
