We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaWe were booked a night and requested a last minute extra night which we were then charged almost double the price of the first room. The location of the breakfast room is located in a different building. Staff were mostly lovely but always seemed distracted and on personal cell phones.
The location was amazing. Right near a main road for access to shops and restaurants. The hotel had a restaurant on the same lot which was nice and easy if you don't want to go far. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was included and enjoyable.

CanadaSmoke smell in hallway but didn’t see anyone smoking. The wood cutlery with the breakfast (which was good) worked very poorly. One of the queen beds (even though we didn’t use it) is placed so close to the closet wall that one would have to go over bed to get to right side (poor building design).
Room very clean and was able to reduce heat to desired comfort level. Well stocked room.

Very conveniently located hotel tor us. Arrived Vancouver airport 7pm, arrived 9pm - over night stop before onward journey on our first Canadian road trip (towards Banff). Hotel much cheaper than for example we stayed in Vancouver. Room very comfortable, spa bath in bedroom (lovely) separate bathroom and shower. Breakfast plentiful, varied filling. Staff very polite and helpful. Small indoor (slash) pool and jacuzzi and a separate fitness room we didn’t use - but the jacuzzi would be fabulous after a long walk etc. Felt uncomfortable only staying the one night, as the hotel was a means to an end for us yet deserved more from us (I know what I mean!!). Planning on a staying again next year August/September - and with some research hope to stay here for more than one night, and not just an over nighter!

CanadaThe booking.com site did not have the dog friendly logo on the main page, so did not bring our dog. We did manage to find someone to watch our dog, or would have had to find another place to stay. But this motel is central for us to visit with my mom. The logo used to be on the site - but taken down for some reason.
Nice place to stay - the staff are very friendly. The meals in the restaurant are well priced and good.

CanadaHaving to register in one building than walk across to the actual building where the room was, is difficult as one would pull up to the lobby, step out registar, then park. This property doesn't have a drive around lane and if you have a larger vehicle you are forced to conduct a multi point turn at the rear of the primary building with lobby then park across the lot at the building where you room is. Only one of the rooms of many I have used at this location had some issues with bathtub hot cold identification and there was always running water that could be heard from the room above. (possibly a faulty toilet)
Hotel was easy to access from freeway, close to downtown, visible. Ample parking near the entry area, well lit, clear of snow. Property felt safe to move about, the building was secure at all times.
