The owner have to put a sign with big letters for the front desk ( Reception) Because I arrived late at night after office closed. I looked for the front desk, I didn’t see it to pick up the key. I paid double price to stay in another hotel with my wife this night. No refund, I wasn’t happy for that.

My husband has asthma and we had requested unscented cleaning products be used. Upon check-in we were told we had been given a carpet-free room. The room was very clean and bed and linens were high quality and very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and spotless. Breakfast was tasty and healthy. Lovely river view from our terrace.

The bathroom and shower were sub par for the price paid for the room. The continental breakfast was minimal. There was no cheese as what was stated in the add. The bread and bagels were low quality. Nochoice of cereals. Cornflakes and Chereos, really!???

We were given a very small room with low and dangerous gable roof, one double bed and the view of the chimneys of the hotel Hotel. I asked to be changed and the lady at the front desk who was very nice, said that it was possible with an extra charge cha charge. I accepted. the view was better but it was also a double bed even though I made a reservation for two beds. My husband and I have been sleeping in separate beds for almost 20 years and that’s what I always ask in my reservation husband husband and I require two beds in every hotel for medical reasons and that’s what I always request in every reservation. It was very uncomfortable night.

The stay was fine we just need a clean room to sleep. However our room upstairs was very small. The sink was in the room, the bathroom was small you could barely moved. The internet was slow. I hit my head 3 times on the supporting beams next to the bed.

The staff were nice and the dinning area was spacious. Breakfast was good.

The breakfast buffet was entirely indoor, tables outside on the porch should have been ready for guests to use. No reason on a nice summer morning to have guests congregate indoors during another covid wave. Our room on the top floor had no air conditioning, but it was mostly OK for us as we do not mind a bit higher temperature. There was a fan if needed. I must have missed this detail when booking.

I liked the rural feel of the location. Well maintained garden, in a quiet neighborhood. One can see the river from the garden. A vehicle or a bicycle is needed to get to La Malbaie.

Breakfast was very good. The location was lovely. Our room was in a small annex. It was spacious and yet cozy at the same time.

It’s starting to age a little, the room was really small, so it felt a little overpriced.

It was close to the water, clean and well maintained, staff was very friendly.

We had the smallest room, so maybe next time, we will get a larger room. A fan was in the room so helpful, but with the latest heat wave, an AC would have been great.

Breakfast was excellent, very healthy- one suggestion though, if mgmt. could have changed it up a little but- better for people who stay longer. Location was out of the way in a cute village- but was central to the coastline, so one could travel 45 min either to Tadoussac or Baie St Paul. Place was very cute, traditional B&B and a beautiful terrace looking out to the river.

The only real down sides were covid restriction related (B&Bs are not the same when everyone is avoiding contact etc).

Lovely little place in Cap-à-l'Aigle. The staff was super friendly and respectful. Nice simple place to stay a few days and discover Charlevoix.

There are many nice restaurants nearby. The deluxe king room (#27) is quiet, cosy with a good view of the river and have a large walk-in shower in the bathroom. The room is clean and exactly as depicted in website. Very friendly owners and staff..

Thought I was going to a motel, not a 2 story. I realized they were booked up, I walk with a cane and had to struggle with my suitcase to get it up stairs. They wouldn't even offer to assist me.

Very disappointed! Picture online very deceiving. It doesn't mention that there is no AC,no microwave. Room very small ,staircase going to the rooms no light at night.The price doesn't worth the room that definitely. Had a very bad experience the first night .I won't go back unfortunately.The place needs a good make over to match those rates that's been advertised.
