Old apparences ( ceiling ventilator makes lot of noise as well as the AC ) Even tough location is quiet and peacefully, these 2 apparences are outdated and ruins your peace of mind during the night

beautiful place with a beautiful view, good served-at-the-table breakfast with cold cuts, different types of bread and fruits. friendly staff ready to help you to plan and book your trips. a bit far from the centre, which at the end means much more quiet. there are quite a bit steps to get there, so it’s not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The room was old and dirty. The air condition was extremely loud while turned on and the shower worked so slowly. The cushions covers were all full of stains with make up or black stains;The breakfast need improvement on egg selection or an la carte menu with different variation; for the price that you guys charge per night there are plenty of better option. Location in the end of the beach, you have to carry your lagguage by your self on the send, horrible. You should organize too a guy who is willing to check in your lagguage and bring them to the port. We were not expecting a 5 stars but for 80 euros per night could be better

The room, nothing special for the price. Also the breakfast, every morning, it is exactly the same breakfast with old or tasteless fruits 70% of the time.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room. This is really basic accommodation (hostel level) and to make matters worse, the linen (blankets, sheets and towels) was old, shabby and stained. All this made for a very uncomfortable stay. The feeling of sleeping and drying in the dirt was really awful. On the second day, my sheets and blanket were changed at my request, but the situation improved only slightly. The room is not at all cosy, the safe is broken, the curtains are pierced, the air conditioning is old and very noisy. Shame, because with a little effort this place could be a slice of paradise.

The place was very nice and had a nice view of the sea. The breakfast was also very good. The staff, William in particular, very kind and helpful

The owner live in one of the rooms and they are extremely loud, every evening even though I complained the were just having the loudest conversation basically screaming and we couldn’t sleep nor relax. Also, it’s not a Brazilian place, it’s actually Argentinian. Which was a disappointment for us coming from Europe to have the Brazilian experience. Unfortunately happens very often kn the island.

The bedrooms are really beautiful and the view ks amazing.

The property requires refurbishment. I believe that the first thing a guest expects is a clean room. What I have received was not very clean. The fridge was rusted, the baldachin had a lot of yellow spots and I even found a small worm near my bed.

To much noise in the room from the fan and airco. When you switch it of, you still hear the motor from the fan from the room next door. Also the curtains are very thin so the street light shined into my eyes the whole night. I didn’t sleep well during our stay. For me the water from the shower was to cold.

Sofia is a perfect host, she is extremely helpful and unbelievably friendly. Good bed

The room was a bit underwhelming: the furniture is quite old, the shower is very temperamental to get hot water, the A/C is incredibly old and noisy, the room was a bit dirty (especially under the bed) and quite smelly due to high humidity and wooden furniture. The breakfast is nice but not optimal: each table is provided with a massive basket of fruits and bread but it was too much for the 2 of us so it meant we wasted a lot each morning. Maybe a buffet would be more appropriate. Also, not sure why but all the tables are so close to one another when there is so much space on the terrace.

The view is lovely, feels you are in the middle of the jungle. The staff was nice and helpful.

The room was fairly basic, as was the bathroom. Could have done with some more personal / luxury touches to reflect the price.

The location of the Pousada is perfect for access to beach and the lovely town. The staff were so helpful and kind and the breakfast was exceptional, with a great view to the beach.

The place had a nice view, but the view is just not worth it. still First, it says that the place is under 1km to town, but it is really far from everything, taking under consideration that it’s no proper roads and when you get to the hotel, it so far up hill. The hill up is not for people that have any issues with walking or similar, and they should have informed much better about the hill up, since we really struggled to take the luggages up. The first thing we heard when we arrived the island, was that the hotel was so far. secondly is the standards are really bad. The bed is not comfortable at all, the shower head was falling off all the time, it was full of ants in the room, and it was parts from the roof falling down in the bed all the time. The air conditioning is also really noisy, so if you struggle to fall asleep with a lot of noises this is definitely not the place for you. You also need to be prepared for warm rooms, since they turn off the air conditioning when you go out of the room, and the air conditioning is really unstable so when you turn it back on again, it stops working all the time. Also: the internet network barely works, not even to read a single mail. We went down to the reception to ask for help both with the internet and the air conditioning that was turning off all the time, we met with other guests that was complaining about the same thing but it was no one in the reception and they couldn’t reach them. The service was all okei. They were nice in the way that they always said good morning etc, but came with rude comments in the length of questions. They came to do “room service” everyday, but they literally threw the sheets on the bed and the pillows where still laying on the floor. neither did we get new towels for any of the days we were staying there even tho the bathroom towel on the floor got really dirty. In other words, this place is way to pricey looking at the circumstances.
