We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Maree and Christine are lovely - they sincerely care about their B&B, their guests and everything they offer in the B&B. They are such professionals, along with a sincete personal touch! Breakfast is delicious and easily organised; you let them know the day in advance which of the options you'd like and they prepare it fresh every morning. Along with a buffet of tea/coffee/fruit/yoghurts/juices, everything is there. Shower is great, rooms are incredibly clean and everything you can think of is provided. Beds and duvets are very comfy, too. And, obviously, the location and views are perfect!! We have not seen a hotel or B&B with these high standards and this excellent value for money during our entire 2-week trip in Scotland. Thanks Maree and Christine!!

Felt very welcome, got good tips on where to go to check out local castle ruins and had a delicious breakfast. Absolutely stunning view over the ocean. If you are very lucky you could see some whales. But even without that it is definitely worth to stay there.

Quiet location and the view

Great location, not hard to find - just follow the signs with the name of the B&B. Our room was perfect, we had an amazing view and the bed was really comfortable. You can order the breakfast at check in and they have plenty of options. The food was amazing ( cooked to order) and they had a great selection of cereal, yogurt, fruit etc. Maree was exceptional!!!! She gave us great recommendations for places to visit and she also told us where to grab dinner. There is a pub close by, The Village Inn, make sure you make a reservation!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. We didn't know until Maree told us and got there early and ordered food to go. We had an amazing time and we cannot thank Maree enough for her hospitality! Highly recommended!

A little more signage would be helpful, as an aid to check-in. As it wasn't obvious which door to use for reception and the bell push wasn't outside.

Location was good for us as we were travelling along the NC500 route and wanted a B&B near John O' Groats. Room was great with views of a ruined castle. Breakfast was good, had a wide choice of cereals, fruit and cooked ingredients.

Lovely house for a break while on the John O'groats trail (be warned that there's no easy access from the trail so you have to cut back at Keiss and follow the road). Had a great time resting on the bench outside with the sun and the view. Room was nice and comfy.

It was windy when we arrived, but at night the wind calmed down.

We liked the spacious room with view to the castle and sea, very romantic. Information how to find it was clear and easy to follow.
