The check in process was quick and easy. The location was near the beach and many restaurants.

The elevators were so slow. TV had no English channels. The pillows were flat and lumpy. The view was a concrete wall and it was really noisy. The air con unit sounded like a wind tunnel all night.

We stayed at Mirasol Copacabana for 2 nights and it met our expectations well. The highlight was the huge bed, the biggest I've ever seen. There was a shower but no bath in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good, buffet style, with a range of pastries, cakes, fruits, meats and cheeses, breads, scrambled eggs, etc. We spent some time on the rooftop loungers one afternoon, but I didn't use the pool. The pool was very small and had a few sun loungers next to it. There were some additional tables and chairs near the small bar, and a nice raised area with a couple of loungers and some other comfortable seating. Pool towels were available free of charge. There appeared to be some renovations/building work happening on some of the floors of the hotel, but it did not affect our stay. The location is perfect, taking just a couple of minutes to walk to Copacabana beach straight down the road. Beach towels were available from reception for free. There was a R$20 fee if you want to store your bags at the hotel prior to check-in if you arrive early. We stayed in two similar hotels by Copacabana and they were quite similar. I think probably most of the 4-star hotels in the area offer a similar experience so I would go with whichever gives a good price at your time of booking.

They do not have a iron to borrow. Gym and room toilets need renewal.

Location was great , close to the Copacabana beach and shops. They also had a very good breakfast and very helpful members of staff.

Front lobby is a bit dark and dingy - doesn't do justice to the elegant marbled walls and floors or entice you in. Area feels safe during daytime but at night you see more evidence of poverty

Great breakfast, friendly staff, close to beach and metro, nice chilled roof terrace and small pool. Large comfortable bed and a good shower. Staff were very responsive to any issues

I was confused about the restaurant schedule and it would be nice if the bar or restaurant were open till a bit later in the evening.

The hotel has 17 floors and only two elevators. One of them was out of order at New Year's Eve. Along with the hotel's guests, all staff used these elevators with full carts of equipment. By the way, a very limited number of hotel crew can speak in English. Only guys at the front desk. There was also a pretty annoying problem. The hotel rooms are claimed as a soundproofing, but we can hear almost every word of our neighbors' conversation. Especially the TV sounds - it seemed like this TV in our room. And two additional tiny things: the shampoo in the hotel is very cheap and poor; for double room it was provided just one glass.

The location was great, and breakfast was pretty good. The view from the roof was beautiful.

Unfortunately the staff at reception let the property down. All but one were unfriendly most of the time and unwilling to help, like it was too much effort for them. They were supposed to have beach towels available but never seemed to have any left.

The air con wasn’t working properly blowing out warm air and really stuffy and the weather was really hot so was so had to take a few showers the lifts take a while to come as there is loads of other guests in the hotel so be mindful

The room- No air con remote The spa bath switch wasn't labelled, so hard to find. The bath pipes haven't been cleaned, the water needs to be run through with the motor on, to wash out the dirt. Unfortunately this was an upgraded room for the spa bath experience, which was spoilt as it was not clean. Otherwise the room is clean bed, sheets and floor. The sauna/steam room wasn't working, however the rest of the area around the pool was nice

The only thing is the light of the corridor did not work well on floor 11 when leaving the room . You walk for a minute or 2 in the full darkness..and to be very careful the swimming pool is not deep at all ..

The hotel exceed our expectations . Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very easy to find, and very convenient to go to the beach just 5 minutes walk.. with free beach towels Breakfast buffet was top, always bringing more food . The steam room/ sauna and not deep pool very convenient .. the view in the evening was spectacular .. We felt very safe walking to the hotel even in the evening . Metro and shopping just one block walk

Facility needs a renovation. I hear that is coming though, so we got what we paid for. even though the rooms needed renovation the cleaning staff did a great job. unfortunately, we needed to reset our room access cards everyday, this wasn’t fun. our safe didn’t work, but the staff fixed that quickly

The room was looking to the inside of the building and the dove were living there so every time they were making noise. Not a resting place.

I could say that everything was perfect; our stay was very comfortable, the room was excellent, and the staff was friendly and always willing to help. Unfortunately, an unpleasant situation occurred with someone from the restaurant. This person, named Alex, was extremely rude to my family. My wife inadvertently took a small plate with some fruit for our three-year-old daughter to eat in the room, not knowing it was prohibited because she didn't read a notice. Alex blocked the elevator door, raised his voice, and frightened them. The behavior of this person was unacceptable. After this incident, the hotel manager apologized according to their policy. Although bringing food to the room is prohibited, the manager understands that Alex should not have acted that way. Apart from this, everyone else was very good. I rarely write such long comments, but I felt the need to express my discomfort and the complete lack of professionalism in that situation.
