No way to boil water for tea or coffee!! No cups, teaspoons, etc. AC positioned across from the bed, so it blows on your head all night - very uncomfortable! Staff is nice, but speaks no English; we felt rather helpless...

Old furnishing, staff's english is poor, we used translator to communicate. But they were nice and friendly.

It was clean, easy to enter and to leave the luggage after the leaving, comfortable bed, nice balcony and great breakfast.

Nothing in particular. Maybe it has more to do with how the police didnt allow our Uber to wait even for a min for pickup

Staffs from the reception desk are not diligent as they might be. For example, I asked them to send a housekeeping to my room and they did not do it. Also, I made a mistake when booked and I tried to solve the issue but the did not help.

One of the staff memeber, Allesa, She was so kind!! She helps us in anything we needed. She cares about us in the sense she explained directions, security concerns and so on.

The location is very central, but it's not save to walk after dark !

The furniture is old, the aisle have a bad smell

The breakfast was amazing. They have açaí, salame, pao de queijo, several juices, etc. And location is great, next to the republica station, and a lot of restaurants near by

The noise level in the rooms was too high and I would not stay at this location.

All guys at the reception were nice and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are not too small.

I didn’t like the fact their card machine couldn’t accept my international credit cards (none of them) so I had to withdraw cash from a mall to pay which was literally a extra cost for me. Considering I’ve used my cards EVERYWHERE with no problem I was really surprised

Really good place to stay, close to many shops. Staff were friendly, especially the doormen and the men who help with bags. The room was spacious and tidy and the breakfast was really good

WiFi. We had two rooms. In one room it was ok but the other room had bad signal

This hotel has an amazing location. Some bigger sites and the metro station is very close. The hotel is in the city center and we walked to some major attractions. It offers an amazing breakfast and even had acai. Rooms are big, clean and modern. Just be careful in this city. It can be dangerous but in the hotel we felt very safe

The room had a bad smell apparently coming from the carpet. The pillows did not seem to be in good condition. The cleanliness of the room was not as expected. Also, on the first day, I called reception for an adapter for the outlet and nobody ever called back (which was the promise over the phone).

1. One of the sliding doors to the balcony did not lock. Maintenance did come and fix the problem quickly (which made me safer since I was a solo traveler,) but they should be checking for things like that after each guests checks out. 2. I checked into my room at 12pm on a Friday and the shower was wet. I get it -- they probably cleaned it right after the previous guest. HOWEVER, the shower was still wet 24-48 hours later.

It served its purpose as a place to rest for two nights.

The hotel has two different blocks, one is renovated and the one that I stayed in this time is still old. Hallways smelling like old carpet, broken and old shower doors, separate double beds, balcony railing extremely low and dangerous. The staff, although solicitous and polite, cannot help to much, as the standard of service at the hotel has changed a lot and the quality has dropped. No breakfast in the room, room service through Bar Brahma with super absurd prices for the standard of service. The downtown area becomes extremely dangerous, it's not hotel’s fault but it's worth mentioning that after a certain time it's impossible to go out walking we need to request a car.

Security 24/7, polite staff, good breakfast, good Wi-Fi and quiet rooms.
