No ATM or ability to change money in hotel. Hotel is very “ worn”, rundown. Restaurant food was terrible. Location is in a questionable area. Must take taxi to shopping and restaurants.

The English speaking staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free and not bad. Drinks at the bar were reasonable.

The rooms are outdated. The hotel is noisy. The pool on the roof is noisy and noisy from people using speakers, there are no umbrellas. Long wait for the elevator

Swimming pool only opened at 9am. I wanted to take pictures of the sunrise on the top floor but it was closed till 9 am. It gets hot very early and I wanted a cool swim before going out but by the time the pool opened it was too late. The reason is to clean and put in chemicals. chemicals can be fine earlier. Even 8am would be ok. Breakfast was plentiful but average. Instant cappuccino in room was undrinkable Windows are filthy

the Front desk staff was unforgettable. no one knew I was there or tried to reach me when my tour guide showed up for my tour. also while checking the agent didn’t mention anything about the restaurant, pool etc. I had to ask.

I had a number of problems during my stay - the wifi didn’t work in my room despite me calling reception multiple times, meaning I couldn’t work, and also the shower in my room didn’t work but it took almost a whole day for someone to come and look at it. I ended up eventually being moved to a different room after 2 days which was much better. the pool has a great view but the water was dirty and there are no umbrellas/shady areas so be careful with the sun.

Rooftop pool had amazing views! The room was large and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and the tourist centre runs some brilliant trips. Omelette station at breakfast was also great!

Musty smell in the room, relocated to another one that smelled bad as well but not so. No maintenance staff after 10:00PM and got a issue with a flashing light bulb that forced me to break the plaster ceiling to turn off. In fewer words, not worth the price and I’m disappointed a lot.

The breakfast is honest and the wifi too.

Besides good location and nice view on a rooftop, almost everything else was terrible and I am usually not that picky with hotels. Check In - took very long time, even though it was empty when we arrived. Payment - during check in I paid the full amount of my stay. 4 hours later the hotel just charged my card another amount that was 30% higher than I’ve already paid. how they managed to charge the card they didn’t physically have – is a mystery. When resolving this they told me that it was an error on Booking website. But my booking.com account didn’t have any info of this payment. They returned the money, but the stuff did not apologize. Bathroom - did not have soap at the sink and in the shower: bottles were just empty. The sink didn’t let water down. Wi-Fi is very slow and unstable. It didn’t work in parts of the room, like bed and bathroom. Only at the desk. I booked the hotel for these days especially because I had to work. Was a waste of money. Breakfast was terrible. First time in 5 years in Brazil! The most common thing that you can find anywhere in Brazil is eggs with sausage. In Intercity was impossible to eat it. The orange juice was made of powder (in the city of fresh fruits and juices on every corner!). Burgers ordered from room service came burned – the bread was black. And overall tasted really bad. We only took few bites and could not finish. Hotel has a great rooftop pool with chairs and nice lights. However when we went there to have wine in the evening (as the bar in the lobby doesn’t work) and other guests of the hotel were on the rooftop as well having beers and wines. The security came at 21:00 and told everyone to leave as its closing. If it was a 2 star hotel with low price – I would have never written this review. However it’s a 4 star hotel which is pretty expensive for Brazil. I never had such a bad experience with hotels and pousadas in Brazil in 5 years of living here and traveling to different places.

The rooms are big with a table for work. The rooftop is nice with swimming pool and nice view. The hotel is pretty close to the center, just 10 min uber to good restaurants.

I enjoyed the hotel. Fitness saloon was like a real gym with all equipments. I found everything I needed. And the breakfast was delicious. I also loved the cute coffee cups.
