Even though the people in the reception try their best the checking system seems to be the one used in 1970. We had reservation and even with that it took forever.. Probably 40 minutes and we were the only people at the desk.

Cigar smoke coming from a room nearby which could be smelled in the hallway; some of the shower facilities did not work in the room, but maintenance immediately came and rectified the situation.

Amazing breakfast; beautiful view (I did pay extra to have an ocean view); very friendly and helpful staff; wonderful view from the rooftop patio area.

Maybe add designated bar area in the lounge or front portion of the lunch area for guests to congregate. Take more advantage of that beautiful view of the beach and all of the foot traffic the 1st floor has.

Breakfast was good! Not a big deal but cook the eggs a bit more. Can't beat the hotels location.

The only downside to this hotel was a lack of vegetarian / vegan options. My other half is vegetarian and I'm lactose intolerant but most things on the menu either had cheese or meat. The meat dishes were very good, but would've been nice to have more options, i pretty much stuck to eggs and bread every day for brreakfast with the occasional sausage, as the other dishes contained cheese.

Dinner in the evening had a very limited menu & was expensive for what it was.

View from our room across to the beach. Very close to the beach & good for local restaurants. Everything worked in the room. We had to make two extra bookings due to confusion with the tour that we were joining and the hotel allowed us to stay in the same room although this may not have been the quality of the room that the tour had booked. Breakfast was good although a little more variety would have been nice.

I really did not like the fact that the breakfast lunch and dinner menus did not include any vegan options. There are a lot of people who cannot consume animal products either due to health or ethical reasons. And all decent hotels should have options for vegans. I would not stay at this hotel again for this reason alone.

Location directly on Cocacabana but not noisy. Roof top bar lovely. Had a beach facing room which was really special. Breakfast and bar service very pleasant.

They could do some work in toilet...cabin shower so water don't split out of cabine plus ventilation inside of toilet is out of order

the massage service is external freelancers and done in our rooms which isn’t the most convenient. additionally having to pay cash for this service and not through the hotel.

asked about a private tour and reception person of the moment was misinformed and said the hotel could not provide that service or information. He was wrong, the next day the manager told me they do provide that information…. but I had already contracted a taxi for an all day tour.
