“The Pousada is a family business and it felt like we were welcomed as part of the family. The room is very comfortable with a great bed and the breakfast that was included in the room was excellent. It was a buffet but you could request hot omelettes and hot croissants if you wanted them. The adjoining cafe where breakfast was served was delightful. Location can’t be beaten. It’s right in the centre of Ouro Preto.
One tip, take earplugs. This would apply to any Pousada in the centre of Ouro Preto as there is a lot of noise on the cobble streets from early in the morning.”
