Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ChileThe only thing that I'd improve is the food offered. We didn't have the best experience trying it out. Other than that, all good :)
Overall a nice place and stay. The room was nice, comfy, clean. Location was okay if you're driving a car and plan to visit cities nearby (Brussels, Ghent). It had better pricing than places in the city center. Also offered parking lot.

BelgiumYou can hear pretty much all that happens outside of the room, people talking in the hallways, doors closing, the sound isolation needs some work. In particular if you have neighbors like I did, that talk loudly on the phone non stop while wallking the corridors.
Nice confortable room and bathroom. Nice staff, and a very convenient restaurant and bar located in the hotel.

NetherlandsThe doors are very loud so it makes it harder to sleep if people are coming and going, but for one night it was fine
It’s fine for a quick stop off while traveling. Nice that it’s out of the city a bit

GeorgiaNext to it there is a hall (restaurant), its name is “3.14”. until 2 am there was very loud music and the roar of drunk people and the roar of cars! And the worst thing!!! Breakfast is not included in the price! My friend drank 1 cup of coffee and I had a light breakfast and we were charged 15-15 euros for that 😳
nothing special!!!

United Kingdomthe only thing i might suggest is to air the rooms. There was an unpleasant smell in mine, which however disappeared when I opened the window for a while.
I liked the location, quiet and relaxing. The place is nice and the staff is very kind. I only stayed one night so can't help more.

United KingdomThe parking lot is just compacted earth, which does explain why the floor of the room was very dirty. No drinks making facilities in the room or water, but there is a vending machine and room service.
For the price, the room was large and had a decent shower with a bath. Plenty of parking and a quiet location. It is perfect for a day's stop-over.

NetherlandsThe water pressure of the shower was very low, this was too bad. There was also a charging point for our electric car, but the power was insufficient (we charged for over 10 hours, but added very few km).
Staff was very friendly, room was small but clean and for a very good price. The bar was closed when we arrived, but there is a vending machine that also had beers and water. Our dog was very welcome!

United KingdomEasy location. Beds were soft for us, but that is a personal preference. Main issue was the smell of drains in the corridor and rooms! No tea and coffee making facilties, but you can get a drink in the bar upto 10pm. Overall fair for the price. Needs a bit of an update, but convenient for Gent and Brussels. Only 1.5 hours from Calais. Breakfast was good, except they did try and charge us for 2 lunches as my son wanted to take some bread with him that he couldn't eat, but had already picked up. The lady moaned at him and he was so embarrassed that he did eat it then and there. Very silly. I understand hotels don't want you to take loads of food, but a couple of slices of bread dose not make a full picnic, and not 2 as well. Would they rather we wasted food? N.B. when we stayed there was an event happing on the neighbouring conference/venue centre, which although not the hotel's fault it was extremely loud until midnight so we were unable to sleep until after it finished and cars moved.
