If I should complain, it could be a terrible noise of insects during the night. Earplugs solved the problem.

In fact, I spent in Meridian Inn 7 nights (2 reservations). The temperature in Barbados was over 30 deg C, therefore it was really challenging to survive. Thanks to the beach and air-conditioning it was possible. The staff was very helpful, e.g., they kept for me my luggage (which was lost by the carrier and arrived 24 hours later). I was also provided with information regarding the bus network, restaurants, markets.

The WiFi dipped a bit but was stable enough for the necessary usages, I would suggest going down to the common area if it was necessary to do more extensive connective tasks, otherwise general browsing, was no issue!

The room that we stayed in had the most beautiful view of the water, waking up to the ocean outside your room was an absolute highlight of our stay. The staff at the Meridian Inn took the time to pay close attention to the room and the overall accommodations; making our late check-in seamless. The location was also perfect, we were walking distance from St. Lawrence Gap, a grocery store, amazing night life and a plethora of daytime actives as well.

Know that there is no view to the sea and maybe you want to spend a little more to get it once you are already in Barbados.

AC needs to be near the bed and not in the kitchen. It's not bad, but the placement just needs to be better.

The pillows were a bit lumpy and the matresses wil sway with every move but overall the bed was comfy. Then the neighbourhood was nosy with birds and nearby hotels activity at all hours, however, this would be applicable to any accommodation in the area.

The owner was present at the reception every single day, ready to answer questions and provide support. Really remarkable service. The hotel is "no frills" but extremelly clean and has all necessary amenities.

You get what you pay for. The beds are two singles pushed together which makes it difficult to be close to your partner .

At this price there is nothing to complain about, but a lift would have been nice. And there was no hairdryer (maybe if I had asked for one..but it wasn't that important).

Great location, next to a path to the beach, short walk to supermarket and various restaurants etc. A comfy bed, shower big & hot, easy to control air conditioning & ceiling fan, helpful staff (carried bags down the stairs). Kitchenette had a kettle and a (huge) fridge/freezer , which was all we needed. Tv had some english channels.

Everything was as expected

Location was great within walking distance to the beach and local store. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bit dated but suited our needs loved it so much that we have booked again for next year.

I left fairly early and a drop box for my key was not evident.

The location is excellent. A short alley takes you to a lovely beach. The facility was basic but very clean and the owner most welcoming. The kitchenette was well set up and would make self-catered breakfast and lunch easy. There are some very nice restaurants in walking distance and a small convenience/grocery store as well. A 5 minute stroll takes you to the main road where frequent buses and ZR vans take you to Oistins in one direction and downtown in the other. A lovely short stay but I would return.

Slightly dated exterior.

A one night brief stay, used as an airport hotel as location was close. Great location for beach, only a couple of minutes away on foot. Convenience store and other amenities very close too. Late arrival by me, but helpful and clear instructions for entry. Room bigger than expected, good shower, Wi-Fi good. Balcony too, although view is of other closeby hotel. Would use again gladly.

First off I would like to thank the delightful owners for allowing us to book and pay for 1 night while really using as a base for luggage, shower and enjoying a wonderful beach no more than a 20 min walk . Also arranging a taxi at a fair price . We arrived after a cruise at 11am . The room was as we expected not ready but our luggage was safe and we changed for the beach ! Fantastic no fuss end to our holiday . Airport no more than 20 mins away 30$ ( bus to tricky with cases )
