we had a slight issue with our card accessing the resort however it was sorted instantly. No other issues with the resort.

We arrived early to the Island after travelling 12 hours- the staff were happy to let us leave our luggage safely so we could explore the community while we waited for our room. Loved the room on the floor, and the accessibility was also a positive. We had no issues with the room. The pools were great.

Very expensive for the value. Staff response a bit slow. The office phone often rings off the hook and sometimes difficult to get hold of. The front gate (key) is very temperamental.

Homely, personalised, lovely furniture and fabulous kitchen fit out in our flat. Apparently the flats vary a lot though.

Well positioned a short stroll from the Magnetic Island Terminal. Bus service to the island's beaches close at hand and IGA supermarket nearby.

Run down rusty , pool tiles missing , paintings falling off walls , no gas for BBQ , range hood didn’t work , AC split off at isolator , fan lights weren’t correct turn fan off or light off in another room dirty underneath bed , not enough dishwasher powder not enough dishwashing liquid , blinds didn’t work in kitchen . Gym equipment poor . Spa timer too short , power point in kitchen dangerous cracked and mechanism about to fall out than exposed electrical conductors, some power points hard to push in most likely due to the dangerous recalled Clipsal power points from 7 years ago, no vehicle wah down facilities after hit with heaps of salt water coming off of barge

That most apartments are privately owned, therefore each apartment needs work done (general painting & bathroom tile grouting) to keep up the level of quality that Grand Mercure is known for.

The location was great you jump off the ferry and a short trip to the resort - Ie 100 metres

Just needed perhaps a chest of drawers in the bedroom to put away other clothes.

We loved our spacious apartment & views. Great to be near ferry terminal & buses to catch.

The cleanliness was a bit shocking and not at all what I would expect for that price point. The sink had sticky liquid dried in it. There were ants crawling from the bedside onto the bed. The floors were sticky and damp smelling. The whole apartment had an issue with dampness and you can smell the mould in each room. The carpets were grubby. The front door had an issue with security. The metal shutters that open next to the only lockable door had previously been forced open and no longer closed, meaning anyone could reach their arm in to reach the lock and access the apartment. Not a good feeling. Travelling with small kids is hard enough at times, it was easier to put up with these things than request any sort of change and deal with packing up our things again.

The location is incredible. Complete ocean front. The apartment had a nice layout and the kids loved the space.

Bathroom floor floods from shower use. Don't use the fridge water. Better hair-dryer and replacement of the ironing board needed but the apartment is great and I would still.book again.

Cleanliness in the Kitchen area was not good it was in need of a very good clean with food crumbs on some of the seating ,we had to clean old food off the chopping board before using it and the fridge hadn't been wiped out with food residue all in the vegetable crisper still. Lovely big glass doors out onto the verandah were also in need of a proper clean they were all smeared and smudged.

An amazing view from the balcony overlooking the ocean. Very handy location Bathrooms and bedrooms were really good.

Lack of cleanliness. The kitchen hadn’t been wiped down properly (food and crumbs all over the bench)
