We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaHeavy mould around the bottom of the shower. A spray of bleach would get rid of that. Where was the spare toilet paper? In the clothes cupboard, not on the toilet cistern which would have been the obvious place. One little piece of soap for 2 people for 2 days? Not enough. No servicing of the room on the second day. One bed castor should be under the bed, not sticking out for a toe to be stubbed against it.
The kitchen sink with washing up amenities was pleasant received. Clean cupboard with cutlery and crockery. Comfortable bed. Towel rail sufficiently wide for 2 towels. Hand rail in toilet and shower were appreciated. Nice shower rose.

Clean rooms, covered parking and pretty central (though not what you'd call picturesque). Pretty normal for motel standards.

Room was good. Close to town (just across bridge on North side of River). Close to shopping centre (IGA) and Hotel. The Motel is old but our room had been updated and was very good. Bathroom was excellent.

AustraliaWhen I arrived I was advised Booking. Com had doubled booked my room however they could offer me a room for the night for $50 I declined as I had booked in good faith. Bunderberg Motel/Hotels were all booked out for the night therefore I had less of a chance finding other accomodation. The reception gave me the me room key and said it is their issue and would work it out.I was impressed as it wasn't my fault
Reception staff was friendly upon arrival. The room was clean also bed was comfortable to sleep in. Following morning the cleaning person was open and friendly

Really bad..Cocaroaches in kitchenette n bedside table..big ones n lots of baby cocaroaches..every night..Told Manager..said people before u never complained..We were there 3 nights..Have stayed there 3 other times over the years but Will NOT stay there again..There entry n where u Park your vehicle is very dirty n dusty...has not been cleaned or hosed off in weeks.. Cobwebs in ceiling corners Upon arrival, was greeted with a locked reception door , knocked and a person from the front counter opened it, asked my name , give me a receipt and room key , said “ your in room 10, then closed the door. No welcome or direction to room at all.

Location was excellent. We requested room 5 and advised that this was a different price. We replied and agreed but on arrival this was not the room. and there was no parking on site. We will have to consider whether we stay at Kalua again.
