Although the room was clean, it was very dusty for example on the fake plants and clinging to the ceiling- they were covered in dust.

The facilities were excellent- games room, hot tubs and pool were great. Really good location too

We were out for breakfast , and returned just before check out time at 10am and our room door was cleanly opened and left unlocked. A little unsettling as we still hadn't checked out yet and all our personal belongings were still in side.

Location was smack bam in the heart of surfers paradise. Plenty of places to eat. A short walk across the road from the beach. Room was neat clean with a few older features but value for money. Beds were comfortable

Could do with new carpet and a paint job. The carpet had stains and rips but the view made up for it. I feel if they renovate then it would be too pricey to stay.

The inconsistencies from the photos compared to what the room really looked like was a slight shock. The cleanliness was not the best and thus quite unappealing. When we stayed the aircon was broken (we were not told this when we booked) we were told it would be fixed during our stay (it was not) we were also told no one complained as it was very comfortable with the fans and sea breeze (it was not). There were also many other broken appliances that we were not informed of. Lots of early morning constructions and or repairs in the building that were very loud and we were also not informed of. There is also a major lack of privacy on the lower levels, as we didn’t have air conditioning we needed to have the back door open for air but through this everyone could see straight into our space it felt very invasive a fly screen might be what it needs.

Awesome pool facilities, location and games room facilities. Some staff were very kind and helpful. Very reasonably priced with lots of pamphlets of things to do in the area.

Lack of air conditioning in the middle of summer can be challenging. Insufficient supply of toilet paper in the bathroom.

The bedroom offers an incredible view, and even the bathroom boasts a gorgeous sight! Situated on one of the best streets, the hotel's location is exceptional. While it can get a bit noisy at night, it's still possible to enjoy a good night's sleep.

The facilities are starting to show their age but the accommodation is priced accordingly. No complaints here.

Clean and comfortable in an exceptional location with an amazing view. Chateau Beachside Resort is sensational value considering its prime location. Will definitely come back here!

Could have done with air-conditioning because with the windows open to get a cool breeze, it was a bit noisy from the street below. Although the fan provided a breeze that was adequate. Just as well it wasn't a steaming hot night.

It was a great location for restaurants. Also was walking distance to everything else we needed. Room was very comfortable and well thought out for the bathroom and kitchenette. Extra bonus getting a car park under the hotel. Bed very comfortable. The view was panoramic from city to beach.

At one point our key was not opening our door, we had to figure out a trick to get it to open (pulling the doorknob whilst turning the key). Small thing but a little annoying, that when going down, we would frequently get the elevator that doesn't go down to the carpark level. You might need to reprogram the lifts to preference the one that does. Should have had one extra toilet paper roll under the sink. Didn't seem to be any free power points near the bed, some people might really need this, fortunately I can live without having my phone on charge next to me. When I went to the pool area, the hot tubs had sand in them, and the male toilet had feces on the seat.

View was decent, room was well air conditioned, bed comfortable, had mostly everything we needed. Pool/spa were fine.

Out dated rooms and furniture. Beds was hard. And had to pay for fresh towels.

Location was perfect, close to everything. Room is very dated. Def needs a full revamp. We had a corner room with pool and ocean view, was beautiful. Luckily because i dont think the ceiling fans would have kept us cool, the breeze was perfect. Good value for money though, was one of the cheapest accommodations we could find. Pool and spa wer perfect. Pillows were comfy but bed was hard. Free parking.

The balcony was a bit odd, as were the amount of provided foodstuffs--- not enough for all three of us for even 2 days, it seemed like just a random number. Also the lack of fan above the stovetop and in the bathroom was also weird. There were also no tissues or paper towels for eating or cooking.

I liked the location, it was very accessible and easy to find. I also thought that the amenities and facilities were very good for the price.

The few things I would say is that the air conditioning wasn’t working, but that could’ve been from a fault, so hopefully fixed now. They did have fans that worked well and you can open up the balcony doors for cool air. I would suggest calling before booking to see if they have air con. The entire apartment is outdated, with old stains, but it doesn’t affect your stay. The main issue was the bathroom, the exhaust fan did not work so the bathroom became more humid than outside. The tiles were chipping and the grout is stained, which gave an unclean appearance. Despite these things the bathroom does most things it needs to, it’s nothing fancy.

You are a close walk away from restaurants, night clubs, food shops and more. The room was clean and we had no issues with the extra single bed put in our room, the apartment is a good size for three people.
