Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenContact with staff was unhelpful and in general the communication was not the best. Check in worked ok, but we weren't allowed to park unless checked in.
Close to ski lifts, ski boots room worked fine and we got vouchers for the Intersport ski room. Bread delivery was OK and all facilities were clean. Kitchen worked out fine for the seven of us.

NetherlandsOur room smelled like cigarettes when we arrived. Not a great start to our holiday! The apartment is outdated and sits by a busy road. The wifi is highly unstable (keeps reconnecting). The owner told us this is "impossible", but he tried to sort it out by providing the login details to the private internet (which was also unstable). We eventually decided to enjoy our stay without sitting on our phone/laptop too much. The shower has frequent blasts of (too) hot water, don't know why this happens. No microwave/oven in the kitchen. Also, there was no spatula (?!) available. There's quite a noticeable high-pitched noise when you're trying to sleep, likely coming from the radiator/heating. It was nice that the owners bought bread rolls for us every morning, but did not tell us that it wasn't included in the price. They were quite overpriced when compared to buying them in the store.
The owners were quite friendly and gave us plenty of information regarding our stay. Easy parking and the bus stop is right in front of the apartment. Fresh bread every morning. Good storage for our snowboards. Split garbage which makes recycling possible. The apartment has a (small) dishwasher which was nice to have.
