Fabulous stay. We really appreciated the excellent customer service and friendliness of the staff. The facial with massage by Lizzie was superb. Great location, we could walk to everything we needed. Enjoyed the terrace bar each evening and the substantial breakfast each morning.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful.

I loved how thought was put into the smallest details: from the key cards to decoration - wonderful. Everywhere there was something to explore. The property was very modern, a boutique hotel, while the original touch and feel of the building was still preserved.

The hotel Badeschloss was not easy for us to find or to walk to. Neither Booking.com nor the hotel website gave useful directions to it. I didn't see anything showing that there is a hotel shuttle service available nor that there is a taxi service in town. It didn't look far on Google maps so we walked from the train station. That was a mistake, the path was very steep, it was not paved and there were hundreds of stairs, at least it was downhill. We used the hotel shuttle service (10 Euros) to return to the station in the morning - we would have used it when we arrive if only we knew they provided the service.

Our room in the hotel Badeschloss was modern, clean and comfortable, it included a table and chairs to sit at. We had a room in the new part of the hotel which had a spectacular view down the valley. (We spent more than our usual budget on this room). The décor in Badeschloss is a bit quirky and fun, e.g. the interior of the lift looks like you are underwater in a swimming pool :) The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. We enjoyed a swim in the heated pool on the roof top. The breakfast included in our room rate was in the hotel opposite, in a most impressive dining room. Really felt like we were spoiling ourselves.

This was possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were really helpful and the facilities were excellent. They had a Finnish sauna which was actually pretty close to the real thing. A dip in the roof top pool before breakfast is highly recommended!

Amazing infinity pool on the rooftop, top breakfast, very comfortable beds and beautiful rooms with panorama view to the Gastein valley. Very friendly and attentive staff.

The rooms are very modern but a triumph of style and design over comfort and space utilisation. The town is very hilly and quite low-key so one tends not to leave the hotel much, and there wasn't a great variety of good food in the immediate neighbourhood, especially at lunchtime.

Wonderful staff, excellent bar, funky restaurant menu, with very international and fusion menu. Very handy for the free ski bus. The spa complex was good, especially the saunas and the heated rooftop pool. The massage was excellent. It is very easy to get here by direct train from Salzburg.

Not enough place to store things and clothes, and not enough light in the evening, the room was rather dark.

The portion of food in the restaurant was quite small considering the price. But the quality was good.

The 3 saunas and relaxation area were great. The relaxation area had a lot of different spaces to use. The infinity pool on the roof for was very cool. We went out there on a sunny but cold morning and we had gorgeous views of the mountains. In the hotel room there were towels, dressing gowns and flip flops. The shower and bathroom were great too.

Music at the massage was missing, the light was too bright in the Kaminzimmer and music at the dinner was very quiet.

The heating of the rooftop pool struggled to cope with the massive influx of snow which made the temperature pretty chilly on the last day of our stay.

Recently renovated, Badeschloss is a gorgeous hotel. The interior fitout has been faithful to the building's heritage with a sleek modern twist. Staff are wonderful and friendly and very invested in ensuring you enjoy your stay. We loved our room which had a view of the valley. The new rooftop spa and wellness centre is gorgeous - especially the infinity pool.

The panoramic view of Bad Gastein from our apartment was breath-taking. The private sauna and bath in the room were very therapeutic. The spa and treatments made a most rejuvenating New Year getaway. The hotel is in a picturesque valley just next to the waterfall. We were invited to celebrate the New Year countdown at the balcony with fellow guests, with complimentary bubblies, and unforgettable fresh snow. From welcome to good-bye, the staff created a wonderful oasis. Thank you for the fairytale-like vacation!

The gym didn't have access to cold drinking water otherwise everything was great.

The rooms were clean and spacious, nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. The spa area was relaxing. The reception area was also really cool. We ended up sitting there and playing games. Breakfast was awesome. The gym had enough equipment to enjoy a good workout. I liked the dimmed lighting. The coffee in the room was absolutely delicious.
