Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe biggest problem for us was the really poor WiFi signal. Had to use our cellular for 5 days. The breakfast was just ok. The gym was super small and old equipment, almost the size of a large closet. It was a big part of why we selected. The room and little pool area are dated and could use a serious upgrade and some plants.
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The maid service was excellent as they watched for us to go to breakfast and cleaned our room then. Free and gated parking right across the street. The hotel is very close to park, restaurants, and Hertz rental car. Bed was also very big and comfy. Shower had nice pressure and hot but the door did leak.

Costa Ricabreakfast is awful. the eggs were green the first day. I got sick just looking at them, couldnt even take a picture. the next 2 mornings I did not get close to the eggs, just had toast. overall bad breakfast. good thing there is a minimarket right in front, to buy snacks. The rooms are very old, they have a smell (old smell) in the bed, closet, room. restrooms are very small. I dont think the room we stayed (apartment room) was cleaned before it was very dusty. my clothes got dusty when i had them in my night table. The location is ok. not wonderful just know is about 20 min walk to the bar and restaurants street.
