Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaWhen we arrived at 5 pm none of our three rooms were ready and we were asked to wait for 1 hour. Only after tough negotiations we were offered a 5% discount.
The empty but large terrace on the roof over quite a view over Yerevan.

FranceThe breakfast was not good. My son didn't eat anything. The cleaning ladies starts the vacuum cleaning at about 8.00 or even earlier. A little bit after builders who do some construction in the new rooms. So in the morning you can forget about good sleep.
The hotel has a marvelous view to Ararat mountain. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Location is very good.

GermanyDidn't like that the shower has no curtain. Why? Everything gets wet. Rooms that go to the terrace have no view at all (milky glass). Understandable since windows are two-way, But if you want a view, make sure you get a room with a balcony rather than the terrace.
Views at breakfast and the breakfast itself excellent!

RussiaI think that for $90 per night you can offer guests a free bottle of water, this is not offered at this hotel, I have stayed there twice before and the water was free, secondly there is a kettle in the room but no tea bags or sugar. Conga, when I checked out, I said this at the reception, they told me that it was my own fault and that I should have come and told about it. in my opinion, I don't owe anything to anyone, I'm a guest, I just have to pay money and enjoy my stay. customer focus level = 0
very good location

ThailandThe air-con is quite noizy. We woke up a few times because of it. A rooftop restaurant supposed to be used as breakfast room and coworking space. But we found that they turn off the air-con after breakfast hours is finished. You may have to talk to the lobby if you would like to use the room. No alcohol selling but there is a minibar in your room and good draft beer bar and restaurants downstairs.
The staffs are all friendly. Room is very clean and comfortable. Smart TV. We stayed in room no.6 and the wifi signal is ok. Warm blanket. Good pillow. Great view at the huge shared balcony and you can walk up to the 15 fl. - to brekafast room, from the spiral staircase. Great food around the hotel. Walking distance from carrefour.

United Arab Emirateszero view from the room. they say it was a mountain view room - there was no view at all. in fact, you have to get out of your room, go to a common balcony and then look out to get a view. so, what's mentioned in the room details is not exactly correct. The pictures show wine glasses on the rooftop restaurant. Its not true and is misleading. Its only meant for breakfast and has no alcohol, and does not serve anything beyond breakfast time. the first night at the hotel, while brushing my mid at around midnight, we realized that the water supply is off. Called them - they said there is some issue with the building and it will be off till 10am in the morning. I was furious. Spoke to the manager, she did try to salvage the situation by explaining and promising to call me at 6am the next morning. But she vanished after that and the staff said she is on leave. Repeated requests to staff to ask her to call back yielded no results. I don't know why the hotel never bothered to inform us the previous evening or when we checked in at round 6pm. Different employees gave different versions of the story. They said another hotel in the same premises was also facing the same issue. I called the hotel - they said they fixed the issue within 3-4 hours and their water supply was on. Ours only started at around 10.45am. Imagine waiting for water with a kid. Harrowing experience. At checkout, they gave me a discount of about 9% !! But there was no apology or consideration for the fact that we had suffered. Problems can arise anywhere - but its about how you deal with them, more so in the hospitality space. This hotel completely failed me and my family. It seemed like a good property with a great location but .....Never again.
average room, average breakfast spread. great location.

Odd, but funky Hotel, I was on the 2nd floor and the rest of the rooms were on the 14th floor. View on 2nd floor not great. Breakfast on the 15th floor, with a fabulous view of Mount Ararat. The staff were lovely.
