Seems I might have been bitten by bed bugs whilst there, front desk was nice and reactive upon mentioning this issue but I followed up over email as well and there was no comment to return or such, which is a bummer.

Superb location, Staff is absolutely fantastic (big shout out to Team F8B in the breakfast section, all of them fantastic!), a really nice hotel overall

Two nights after midnight I couldn't sleep because of night club music. My room was on the 4th floor. After I informed the receptionist he apologized and promised me that they would solve this but they didn't.

Everything was fine, but my evaluation is my personal view. This is my first time in Marriott, and I am trying to compare it with some other 5-star hotels (eg. Dusit Thani in Qairo, Anantara in Abu Dhabi, Intercontinental in Shanghai, etc.), all of these hotels are. The location is good, it is relatively close to the old historic town and downtown as well as many other tourist attractions.

Quite far from everything. We stayed during Ramadan, and suhoor was not the best, more choices would be great also fruits were not fresh (watermelon). It was mostly Biryani and other main dishes, we would prefer lighter options for suhoor.

Big clean hotel, with swimming pool and other facilities. Lobby was nicely decorated for Ramadan, room was great.

Location is a little away from shops etc but is sort of half way between Airport and city centre so was convenient, just not much nearby.

The staff and quality of the service was top class - helpful, friendly and attentive to all my needs, this was the best aspect of this hotel and one I would definately stay again in.

I liked everything. But as a recommendations. I suggest to keep Bath robes in the rooms by default (provided when I requested) and air freshener in The common corridors

The staff is very friendly especially Mr. Atef & the room service team. They do their best to satisfy the clients. Any suggestion or feedback is considered seriously & action taken immediately. They allowed me to self park my car which I usually like, but not all the hotels provide this option.

Location - far from city center, far from beach, very limited possibilities to stroll around, have a coffee or snack.. for every destination taxi is needed. Hotel shuttle exists but schedule is not as frequent as one would need.. One caffe in the lobby and one small shop can not compensate isolated location.

the reception treatment was not good at all, i booked deluxe king rooms where they checked some of us in twin rooms. only after discussing the situation with them they changed us to smoking deluxe king room. also there was a delay in check in, and baggage transfer between the changed rooms

The water in the shower area and pool wasn’t that warm for my little ones.

Buffet at the restaurant & children play area at the spa. I felt the water in the swimming was a bit cold. Overall, we like the hotel & it is value for money.

Needs full renovation, a lot of flys in the lobby, valet parking are extremely slow also room service is too slow.

The pool. If you are planning to spend time in the pool. The pool is not heated. It is cold out there late December, the water in the pool is very cold. Could not enjoy it at all.
