The hotel does not pick up the phone when you can and they tried to charge me the resort fee again when I got there

Fast speed wifi and complimentary bottled water at the lobby (all inclusive with the hotel resort fee). I would prefer to opt out of it. 2nd day check-in staff is more accommodating and switch our room.

We enjoyed the close proximity to the city center as we were seeing a show on Broadway so it was just a 10min walk. The entrance to the hotel was very nice, quite enjoyed the feel of being on a boat/luxury ship. The size and layout of the room was nice as well, considering we were upgraded at no cost.

Location was excellent for our stay as we wanted to be walking distance to East Village, LES and Brooklyn Bridge. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard, fresh bottles of water every day. Paint on walls peeling in parts but didn't put us off. Good water pressure in shower. No breakfast provided which I knew in advance. Less than 10 mins to subway. Lifts were fast and then gave us a high floor which had a lovely view of the Brooklyn Bridge. No resort fees, only 100 dollars to cover any breakages, returned quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Feels like a luxury boutique hotel, the service was excellent and very welcoming, and the room was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel. Love the expresso machines in the rooms , block out blinds and big bathrooms. Room was a good size with room to move around. Very quiet as well which is a big plus in a city like NYC.

The hotel is stylish and very well thought out. While the rooms are not big, every last inch is meticulously utilized in a functional way. We liked that the resort fee could be applied daily towards food/drinks. And the complimentary coffee is always so appreciated!! Comfortable beds, great windows, helpful staff.

The location couldn't be better, close to Central Park, right in the heart of Manhattan. Room and bathroom were not luxury, but a good size for NYC, and there is an excellent gym.
