We were upgraded to a room with a private pool so that was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. There was a large private terrace with chairs and sunloungers. The sea view was a bonus.

Everything was perfect! We will definitely come back next summer! We stayed at the resort (room 104), and everything is new, modernly built, with high-quality materials. We even had a small private pool, a terrace, and the room was quite spacious. The cleaning is done every day without you having to ask. The breakfast was very good and varied from day to day. The hotel’s private beach and the sea were exceptional! The sand was fine, and the sea was not too deep, perfect for families with children. The staff was very helpful but discreet at the same time. Next to the resort, there is a very nice taverna. Overall, a successful stay!

One of the few underrated hotels I've been to.
Our apartment was spacious, clean and had a great view to the beach and marina.
Housekeeping: Ladies were very kind and efficient. The room was like new every time we came back from the beach.
Food at the main restaurant: Not a huge choice, but everything tasted great. Especially deserts, some of which were out of this world.
Location: Ideal - whether you want to go out for a walk on the busy street or relax inside the complex, or at the beach. It's also very close to Chania airport.
Beach: Clean and fine sand. Not steep so quite suitable for children. Water was crystal-clear and warm.
Personnel: Very friendly overall, especially housekeeping and restaurant staff.
Bar: Unlike most All-Inclusive hotels we've been to, cocktails were really nice and professionally delivered.
We would love to stay at Porto Platanias Beach Resort & Spa again.

Platanias main street is a 2 minute walk from the hotel Lots of shops, Restaurants & Bars, Buses are very cheap from the square stop to Chania Town from here. I also did a Full Day tour & got picked up from here to the beautiful Elafonissi Beach which was awesome!!!!

A great place to come and chill out
The food was really good and varied day by day, always were nice dishes to choose during the whole day. (All inclusive we had)
Animation programs during the day were nice, my special favourite were the aqua fitness occassions and the Circus show in the evening, I would definitely keep that. The resort overall was really clean.
Complete resort excellent food and bar service. Great friendly staff. Market on the site for all your needs. Lots if near by restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices!

Residents of the Village Resort have access to the Beach&Spa Resort's pools and the pool bar. You can also ask to have a lunch or dinner in their all-inclusive restraurant (different from the a la carte restraurant). The view from that restraurant is fantastic, so I highly recommend going there. The food selection is also better than in the Village Resort.
It is great you can use the pools at the spa resort over the road too. Amazing location, clean rooms. Best part of this hotel is the staff they are sooo nice!
I had a sea facing suite, and the views were just amazing, even better than the views from many four star beach resorts. My stay was so peaceful and waking up to the sound of sea waves was heavenly. I wish I could stay here for a few more days. The Kitchenette had all the basic amenities to cook a simple meal. I also loved the private terrace. It was quite large and had privacy. Maria was also very responsive and super-professional.
It was right on the beach as advertised, nice pools and balcony, good breakfast buffet, good service and helpful staff, well located for exploring western crete. It's the kind of place that checks all the boxes for a beachfront resort but each element is just okay, fine, good enough. They upgraded us to all inclusive for our last day, which was generous of them, and fun for our kids.
