Located on the edge of Redwoods forest and overlooking the famous Whakarewarewa Geothermal Reserve and Historical Village, Rydges Rotorua features a purpose-built mountain bike and adventure equipment... Very nicely appointed hotel and facilities.The rooms and common area were clean and appear to be recently redone. The breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choices, well prepared, and the items were replenished quickly. Grounds are nice, area is quiet and peaceful. Not far from the main part of town, but far enough to be an oasis in a less busy area.

I was very happy to discover that the hotel rooms were new and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I decided to have dinner at their restaurant and I was glad that I did, my dinner was excellent! The reception area also has a large gathering / game room. Urban Lounge Sleepery is located in the town centre and overlooks Kuirau Geothermal Park. It is a 2-minute walk from the lake. Is very clean. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything you need. The room is very nice and clean, everything works well. As for the bathroom, the shower works, they provide extra towels, and there's body wash and shampoo.

Located just 3 minutes’ walk from Lake Rotorua, ibis Rotorua offers air-conditioned rooms with beautiful lake, city or garden views. The hotel features a restaurant, a bar and free parking. I was upgraded to a room with a view of the lake that still met my other booking requirements. When I decided to stay for another day the staff was able to accommodate my request without having to move my room.
