The hostel was clean and at a great location.
One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Lovely layout of the rooms, comfy bunk beds with curtains. Toiletries in the spacious showers. Plenty of lounge space although I didn't have a chance to use it.
Modern property, great location. The use of the communal spaces is a nice touch seems to have maybe been a hostel in the past so you get a hotel with extra shared facilities.
Central and cheap. Great for younger single backpackers.
Great location, 50 m from the Intercity bus stop. The most clean hostel’s kitchen I have ever seen. Toilets were always clean and available. There is not elevator but the girl at the reception helped me bringing upstairs my very heavy suitcase. Pasta, rice, salt, coffee and tea, free to use.
The vibes were great. The big open areas, clean, tidy, neat and new. Everyone was very friendly, and I slept incredibly well. Great location, too. For solo female travellers, nice to have female dorms. Everything you need. One of my favourite NZ hostels so far.
Everything was excellent as always. This is our go too when we need a break from home. Great location, super safe for young children also. 10/10
Location was spectacular, central and walking distance to multiple spas and the main restaurant areas. The guest house was very clean and staff was friendly. Our private room was a good size and value, I recommend this place if you are on a budget but want a bit more privacy than the big backpacker hostels (and in the exact same neighborhood as them, too). Also the bed was extremely comfortable!
I have stayed at backpackers for cheap and had some horrible experiences. For the price I paid I really enjoyed everything I needed was there and everything was clean. And it's nice to have so much space compared with a backpackers which is much smaller.
I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location. Nice staff, good price.
